Long Distance Inductive Proximity Sensors provide some of the most extensive sensing capabilities in the realm of inductive sensors. Such sensors are essential for applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects over considerable distances. They function using electromagnetic fields and are characterized by their robust design, reliability, and accuracy. These sensors are crucial in automation, robotics, and industrial machinery for position feedback, object detection, and automation safety. However, they are explicitly not intended for life-safety or applications where sensor failure could cause bodily harm. Various models are available for diverse environments, including harsh conditions or high-temperature settings, ensuring versatility and the ability to meet different industrial needs. These sensors typically include features compliant with RoHS standards and offer multiple connection options for comprehensive integration into existing systems.

Capacitive proximity sensors are essential for detecting both metallic and non-metallic objects, including liquids and various materials like plastic and wood. They feature a selectable output, allowing for normally open or closed configurations, and boast a vast operating voltage range from 20 to 250 V AC/DC. This versatility reduces the need for multiple sensor types. Importantly, they are not polarity sensitive, simplifying installation and wiring. Designed with durability in mind, these sensors have a rugged cylindrical housing made from either metal or plastic, with a 30 mm diameter. They are dust and water-resistant, while also providing shock and vibration protection. LEDs indicate output status, and they have built-in short circuit protection up to 50V DC. The sensors' operating distance can be adjusted via a screw, useful for specific applications like detecting full or empty containers. Optional waterproof housings are available for increased sensor protection and easy removal for testing, accommodating standard 1 1/2'' GAS fittings and made from non-toxic POM material.

The MicroCount I & I/AS are 6 digit counters that can be panel or PCB mounted (a black panel mount bezel is included).  They are housed in clear, polycarbonate, plastic and connections are made by five pins. The MicroCount I is a totalizing counter and the I/AS is an add/subtract counter. The MicroCount II is an 8 digit, totalizing, add/subtract counter that can be surface or PCB mounted. Two versions are available:  the “IIR” with front push button reset or the “II” without push button reset. The counter is housed in black, polystyrene, plastic and connections are made by six pins. The MicroCount V is a 6 digit battery powered totalizing counters. It has leads for remote contact and increments on contact open.  A black panel mount bezel is included.

This Fargo Controls Inc. is proud to announce its latest addition, the TC series. This series is a powerful 6-digit multifunction programmable preset Timer/Counter with a communication interface. It has RS-232, RS-485, RS-422 Serial Communications and supports Modbus protocol. This series can be connected to a PC for programming and logging of data.

The RS Series are small panel mount frequency, rate and Line Speed meters. Their programmable scaling makes them capable of dis-playing, frequency, RPM and line speed as well other units of rate or flow.
