Farmer’s multi-head automatic welders provide rapid changeover and the ability to weld BCI group sizes U-1 through group 31 on our standard machine. Commercial and scrubber batteries can also be accommodated with minor modifications.

The Farmer Terminal Post Bonder provides reliable operation while ensuring consistent depth of fusion on each terminal post. Based on resistance welding principals, the Farmer Post Bonder provides a process where the electrode (probe) generates the necessary heat to melt the lead of both the bushing and terminal post. This principal, combined with a controlled downward movement of the electrode, ensures a consistent bonding depth with each battery.

The automatic leak check machine offers accurate case-to-cover seal testing. The Farmer Punch offers two key advantages: the rapid rate at which the containers are processed and the ability to test cases in the production line after the heat seal machine. Both greatly enhance unattended operation time and increase worker productivity. The Farmer leak check machine uses differential pressure gauges, bubble tight air valves, precision regulators to ensure correct fill pressure and PLC controls. No tools are required for quick changeover.

The Automatic Top Terminal Brusher provides an accurate means of final terminal brushing either as an inline application or offline final inspection as part of the finishing process.
