Fernco Standard Couplings are a range of set size shear banded couplings covering the most common connection requirements. With the most comprehensive range and stock holding in the market, Fernco supply the smallest domestic projects to the largest global projects with ease. Sizes start from 50mm up to 620mm, after which Fernco can manufacture to specific size requirements. See technical datasheet download for list of sizes available. All Fernco Standard Couplings are manufactured in accordance to ISO 9001:2015 and comply with BS EN 295-4:2013 and WIS 4-41-01, suitable for private and adopted (public) drainage and sewers.

Fernco Bushes are simple rings of EPDM rubber that are available in various diameters and at various thicknesses. Bushes are used as an additional component part of either Shear Banded Couplings or Lateral Connection Saddles. The purpose of a bush is to increase the outside diameter of a pipe to be connected if the pipe is too small for the coupling being used or the saddle being used. The bush will simply fill the void between the outside of the pipe and the inside of the coupling.

Fernco manufactures a wide range of couplings that connect rainwater and wastewater pipelines using the internal surface, we call these ‘Icon’ (internal connection) couplings.

Fernco Adaptor Couplings, sometimes referred to as reducer couplings, are designed to connect unadopted drainage pipes with different outside diameters – connecting larger drainage pipes to smaller drainage pipes and vice versa. Adaptor Couplings are made from three component parts: one stepped moulded EPDM rubber body with two different diameters on each side and two stainless steel clamp bands, which when tightened create a secure connection. These simple yet effective connectors can be tightened onto pipes using a nut driver and torque wrench, creating a permanent airtight and watertight seal in just seconds.

Fernco Chemical Couplings provide a flexible and watertight connection on underground drainage systems that require a high chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals. Manufactured to meet specific site requirements, Fernco Chemical Couplings are able to withstand the widest possible range of chemicals, due to the shear band and clamping bands encasing a high-performance elastomeric sleeve with a chemically resistant one-piece Fluoropolymer (FEP) liner and expanded PTFE seals. Fernco Chemical Couplings are available with either Grade 1.4301 (304) or Grade 1.4401 (316) stainless steel clamp and shear bands.

Fernco Wraparound Couplings are designed to seal cracks in drainage pipes by simply wrapping around the the cracked area and connecting. This eliminates the need to cut out and section of pipeline and replace with new.

Fernco EPDM End Caps are ideal for capping pipe ends, cleanouts and open test pipes. Suitable for both above and below ground applications, Fernco end caps can be used on any pipe material.
