Particle Filter Testing Service

We perform tests on filters and filter media even down to granulated active carbon or carbon beds, according to ISO 16890, EN 779, EN 1822, ASHRAE 52.2 or ISO 11155 / DIN 71460 amongst others. Adsorption Testing / Gas Phase Filtration Services

We operate tests on filter elements, filter media or loose granulated adsorber beds. We are able to offer a wider variety of test gases and test concentrations and can also work with extraordinary designs. The test standards used describe the basic procedures and test rig requirements. They can be adapted with small variations to cover a wide range of possible applications. With over 20 years of experience and thousands of tests in a wide variety of applications (e.g. automotive, agriculture, kitchens, room air cleaners, alternative cleaning systems), we are confident to providing the best possible services to our customers. International industrial groups as well as regional suppliers rely on our test results and our extensive know-how.

Testing of Material Properties

Besides the evaluation of filtration performance we also run tests regarding basic material properties on media and elements. This includes climate change tests, ageing tests, shelf life, conditioning under extreme temperatures and humidity as well as several stability tests or fogging and odor tests.

Fiatec - Engine Air Intake Test Bench

We operate a test bench according to ISO 5011 for performance testing of engine air intake filters since late 2018. Hence, we are able to provide neutral test results for producers and users.

PTI-Test Contaminants

Since 2015 we are exclusive distributors of all PTI test dust products in Europe. Also other regions like South Africa, Turkey, Russia and Egypt have been included in this trade agreement. PTI (Powder Technology Inc.) based in Minneapolis, USA is mainly known as producer and supplier of test dusts according to ISO 12103-1 (Road Vehicles – Test Dust for Filter Evaluation), formerly known as Arizona road dust or SAE-dust.
