The Filter 1 Cyclotron combines a long tapered cone, a high velocity inlet, and a large internal helix to easily separate from the air stream all moderate size particles, such as saw dust chips and particles from metal grinding.The Cyclotron fans are positioned on the clean air side of the cyclone and are direct drive for low maintenence. In addition, the fans have backward inclined blower wheels for high efficiency and low noise operation. Optional Safety After Filters ensure that even the smallest particles are captured. Standard filter material for the after-filters is 16-ounce seared, felted polyester, designed to hold large dust particles to the outer edges, thus forming a filter cake which heightens filtering efficiency and facilitates easy removal.

In addition to the cartridge dust collector `Super Bench,` the Benchtron Series also includes a panel filter downdraft bench that is designed specifically for industrial processes generating fine dust and smoke. The Benchtron BFP is a compact downdraft / backdraft table with a multi-stage filtration system that utilizes standard industrial panel filters.

Flexible Filter System: Multi-stage, multi-efficiency 24` x 24` x 4` pleated media filters can be configured to fit a variety of industrial jobs. Available media ranges from inexpensive, lower efficiency pre-filters to high-efficiency HEPA quality filters.

This down draft table utilizes high efficiency media filters, work surface grating, suction velocities of 150-300 FPM across the entire work surface, and automatic power pulse cleaning. The unit is self cleaned on a solid state timer which can be activated by the operator regardless of whether the fan is off or on. The removed dust falls into pull-out drawers in the bottom of the cabinet. The filter media has been tested by two independent laboratories who have both measured efficiencies of 99.9% on all particles ½ micron or larger.

The DFW provides excellent performance for most wood sanding operations by combining our direct drive, backward-inclined wheel for efficient performance with standard MERV 11 panel filters for easy, cost-effective maintenance. (For special requirements, standard size 24x24x4 inch panel filters with application-specific media may also be used.) Both sides of the table have a six-inch overhang; all sides have side suction slots to catch dust from sanding over the edge, and the work-surface is constructed of rubber mat for ease of use with wood. The motor is mounted externally (out of the air stream).

The Filter 1 Hydrotron Downdraft Table is a self-contained workstation with its own water dust collection system, excellent for `cell manufacturing.` It features easy installation and comes ready to run. The workstation is available with a single work surface or with two work surfaces, one on each side.The Hydrotron gets the dust immediately wetted, reducing the risk of fire in ductwork and meets OSHA and NFPA regulations for dust collectors located inside the building. The standard unit includes a fiberglass grated work surface, a Regain Air Curtain in front to prevent dust from escaping the work zone, and a clear inspection door.

The Filter 1 Hydrotron DHYD Mark II Downdraft Table purifies air by a combination of centrifugal force and the violent mixing of water and contaminated air. As the airstream passes the fixed baffles, particulate is separated by a heavy, turbulent curtain of water created by high-velocity air. The centrifugal force caused by the rapid changes in airflow direction forces the dust particles to penetrate the water droplets and become entrapped. Contaminated water is then removed from the airstream by special mist filters by our wet collector downdraft table. Dust, as sludge, settles to the bottom and the water is reused.
