Multiple Mounting Options: FX oil mist filters are available with a number of mounting options including floor stands, machine mounts and the mobile CSX unit. Stainless Steel: Filtermist FX and S series oil mist filters are available in standard mild steel construction and also stainless steel versions for use in hazardous or corrosive environments.

S Fusion and FX Fusion successfully remove submicron particles generated in neat oil applications by combining a hi-tech synthetic self-draining media filter with Filtermist’s proven centrifugal technology - offering an effective alternative to other products in the high-pressure coolant market.

Filtermist cyclones are designed to collect dust and swarf before it enters the Filtermist unit. The system is attached to the inlet of the Filtermist unit and the contaminated air passes through it. The low-pressure area within the separator encourages the heavier particles to fall to its base where they can be easily removed. Filtermist has re-designed the cyclone, without impacting on the efficiency of the oil mist collector, into a shorter system to complement its compact extraction units.

A simple, inexpensive addition to the extraction duct, the Pre-filter is a rectangular unit with an integral tray holding a sheet of filtration material or metal mesh. This material can be washed or replaced. Pre-filters should only be used on light dust. Heavier dust/particulate applications may require a Dust/Swarf Cyclone.

Afterfilters are designed for the removal of oil smoke and any submicron particles that have passed through the Filtermist oil mist collector unit. The afterfilters are retrofitted to the Filtermist unit and fit easily over the exhaust end of the unit using clips to hold it in place.

These versatile stands have been designed to fit directly onto the machine tool where floor space is at a premium and allow the fitting of the units taking into account the location, application, access for ongoing maintenance and size of unit. Machine tool stands are available for S series and FX series units.

The Horizontal Inlet Plenum Option allows Filtermist units to be mounted at a lowerheight to make installation, service and maintenance even easier. This option enables Filtermist units to be mounted onto swarf conveyors and can also be used to mount the unit on top of a machine tool in locations where it is not possible to direct mount or the machine tool is unable to support the Filtermist unit. NB. This option is suitable for all models except the S200.

The Filtermist extendable floor stand comes in sections for easy transportation. The stand height is fully adjustable with the base plate pre-drilled for bolting to the workshop floor. Filtermist also offers a low-level stand which enables easy access to the Filtermist unit. The stands are made for the S series and FX series with customised mountings to ensure the oil mist collectors are mounted securely.

F Monitor monitoring systems use a globally recognised traffic light system of coloured warning lights to alert machine operators when the Filtermist unit needs servicing. The F Monitor Essential measures velocity pressure to check the airflow through the Filtermist oil mist collector is correct. It uses two standard AA batteries, so no electrical connection is required, and it attaches to the machine using magnets.
