More and more people are complaining about the quality of water in their households or workplaces. Sediment, unpleasant taste and smell as well as the fear of bacteria and viruses cause that we reluctantly drink it straight from the tap. Chlorine, which is added to water to kill unwanted microorganisms, has adverse effects on human health (it dries skin, causing allergies, and can contribute to the formation of cancers). For this reason, we drink bottled water, forgetting that it is often of poorer quality than the one taken from our tap.

It is often impossible for the residents of single-family houses to connect to the water network and, therefore, they use their own intakes, e.g. deep-water wells. To be able to determine whether the water from the backyard well is suitable for drinking or not, it has to be tested in the municipal sanitary-epidemiological station.

Drinking water can vary in many ways. We consider the division in terms of the structure. In this respect, it can be divided into spring waters and standing waters. Our health, life expectancy and physical condition depends to a large extent on the type of water that we drink and use to bath. People living close to nature, high in the mountains, enjoy good health and longevity. When considering the reasons for this, one of the most important is the nature of the spring water. The opposite of the spring water is the standing water. The latter derives from the spring water that has lost its properties. Types of standing waters are municipal and bottled water, water from ponds and tanks, water from slow-flowing rivers, etc.

The wastewater dry well pumping stations available in our offer constitute a complete, sealed device used to transport sanitary wastewater, municipal drainage water or water from dewatering at greater distances or to raise the wastewater to a higher level. They are most often used in gravity-discharge systems where the wastewater flows through a house drain or a section of a gravitational sewerage system directly into the tank, where it is pumped through a pipe, using a dry pump, into a collecting well on the main sewage manifold or directly to the wastewater treatment plant. Since there is no need to maintain a protection zone (due to the toxic effect on the environment, noise or similar factors), the described devices can be installed in such places as: dry chambers, basements, underground garages, etc.

The modern pumping stations produced by Firma Bartosz are used when constructing sanitary, industrial and storm sewers in cities, villages and manufacturing plants. This is one of the most important parts of water and wastewater management. Their main function is the transport of sanitary wastewater, drainage water and stormwater as well as the water from dewatering processes over long distances or to a much higher level. The pumping station is supposed to pump the wastewater into the main manifolds of the gravitational or delivery (pumping) sanitary sewer. In the standard version, the chambers are made in the form of cylinders with sealed bottoms, however, large tanks can be made in the oval form or other shapes.

Pressure boosting units available in our range of products are used to control pressure and pump clear water at a temperature of 25°C, provided that the maximum working pressure should not exceed 1.0 MPa (max. operating pressure is the sum of the head pressures of the pump with the rate of delivery and water pressure at 0). These systems can be supplied from an open balance tank and used to raise the insufficient level of pressure. Pressure boosting units can be mounted in the water supply networks of all sorts of buildings. We offer a selection of fittings that will be best suited for the requirements of specific systems. The standard models of pumping stations are intended for pumping clean water at a temperature of 25°C and their maximum operating pressure must not exceed 1.0 MPa (max. operating pressure is the sum of the head pressures of the pump with the rate of delivery and water pressure at 0 in the suction pipeline – this value cannot be greater than 1.0 MPa). The pumping stations are supplied from an open balance tank (or from several tanks).
