Flow-Tronic - Electromagnetic Insertion Flowmeter

The TORPEE-MAG is a hot tap full profile electromagnetic insertion flowmeter. Multiple electrodes placed across the entire sensor body at equal area, measure and report the average flow rate over the full diameter of the pipe. The specific design of the multi-electrode sensor compensates for variable flow profiles, including swirl and turbulent conditions and allows installation without calibration on site. The TORPEE-MAG can be installed without shutting down, emptying or cutting the pipe (hot tap installation). It does not require welding flanges and installation can be done in pressurized pipelines up to 17 bar. The TORPEE-MAG fits in confined spaces, can be submerged and offers complete accessibility. It can be removed in pipes under pressure for easy inspection, cleaning, calibrating or verification. It is particularly cost-effective for retrofit application. The TORPEE-MAG is available for pipe sizes ranging from DN100 up to DN2500.

The TMC-20 is a stationary converter for full pipe sensors. It is either AC or DC powered. When combined with the TORPEE-MAG sensor the TMC-20 with its 4-20 mA and contact closure outputs becomes a powerful full pipe flowmeter and data reporting system. A Modbus RTU or Hart output is available as an option. The TMC-20 provides users with a reliable solution for full pipe stationary flow monitoring applications. The standard model includes: an IP67 enclosure; a 3-key numerical keypad; a graphical backlit LCD display, 100-240 VAC or 12-48 VDC power supply, two 0/4-20/22 mA output and two Pulses/Alarm outputs.

The TMC-15 is a battery-operated converter for full pipe sensors. It is powered either by lithium or alkaline batteries. When combined with the TORPEE-MAG sensor the TMC-15 with its contact closure outputs becomes a powerful full pipe flowmeter and data reporting system. A Modbus RTU output is available as an option. The TMC-15 provides users with a reliable solution for full pipe flow monitoring applications. The standard model includes: an IP67 aluminum enclosure; a 3-key numerical keypad; a graphical backlit LCD display, alkaline or lithium batteries and two Pulses/Alarm outputs.

The Flo-Sonic OCFM is a permanent measurement system for open channel applications using the ultrasonic transit time technology. The RTQ-2000 is a Real Time Portable Flow Logger & GPRS transmitter connecting directly to the Open Channel Non-Contact RAVEN-EYE Radar Velocity flow sensor. The RTQ-2000 has the capacity of transmitting the flow data, raw level, velocity, temperature from most manholes without special manhole cover into the Internet using GPRS data communication technology. Data is available for visualization and download in Excel format from any Internet browser. SMS (option) and E-mail alarming are possible. Automatic Data transfer to an existing data base is possible using XPATH module.

Flow-Tronic - Electromagnetic Velocity Sensor

The EMV-500 is a water/wastewater electromagnetic velocity open channel flowmeter sensor which is available in two sizes: SIZE A is suited for pipes or channels from 150 mm to 500 mm diameter, SIZE B is suited for pipes or channels from 500 mm to 2.000 mm diameter. The sensor is encapsulated in an IP68 submersible ultra high molecular polyethylene body to be mounted with a special sensor mounting band in the pipe. When combined with the appropriate level sensor, the EMV-500 constitutes an efficient electromagnetic area/velocity flowmeter measuring both velocity and level in the same cross-section (or slice of pipe). This is a requirement necessary for accurate flow rate measurement using the continuity equation: Q = v x A. In addition, electromagnetic sensors are totally unaffected by the concentration of debris or dilution of wastewater by rain.
