Foremost Mobile Equipment - Vac Trucks
Foremost - Non-Code Hydrovac Trucks
The Foremost 1000 is a non-code hydrovac designed to operate efficiently in urban environments. This unit is sized appropriately to maneuver easier in smaller streets, but maintains its productivity as our larger models. The operating components on this unit are identical to those used on our larger designs, thereby giving the operator the same efficiencies while working, but within a more manageable package.
Foremost - Non-Code Hydrovac Truck
Foremost Vac Trucks is pleased to announce the FVS1200 (Foremost 1200 Non-Code Hydrovac Model) to its line of premium vacuum equipment. The Foremost 1200 Non-Code Hydrovac Model is a full size unit, offering 10.5 Cubic Yards of debris capacity and 1200 gallons of fresh water storage.
Foremost - Non-Code Hydrovac Truck
The Foremost 1600 Non-Code Hydrovac model allows for larger capacities, but is designed to be mounted on a tridem or a tridem with a drop axle. These units have the same equipment as the Foremost 2000, but can include the 42” (1600SD) or 70″ (1600 HD) van body.
Foremost Mobile Equipment - Dual Rotary Drills
Foremost - Dual Rotary Well Drills
The DR-12 is a light, yet powerful PTO rig popular among domestic water well contractors drilling in moderate to severe overburden. It will handle casing up to 12″ (305 mm) in diameter, and has been field tested to depths beyond 550 ft (168 m) for a typical 6″ (152 mm) cased well. The DR-12 is available with an optional pipe tub, single pipe loader arm and telescopic casing jib. The configuration accommodates diverse site conditions.edddd
Foremost - Dual Rotary Well Drill
The DR-24 will set casing up to 24” (610 mm) in diameter. This model is commonly used for domestic and municipal wells, and construction applications such as foundation piling projects and holes for hydraulic elevator jacks. The DR-24 is available in PTO or deck engine configurations and can be mounted on a truck, trailer or self-propelled tracked carrier. Available in a stock tandem or tridem configuration.
Foremost - Heavy Duty Dual Rotary Well Drill
The DR-24HD (‘heavy-duty’) features a heavy-duty gear-driven lower drive, which generates two and a half times the torque of the standard DR-24. The DR-24HD is also configured with a heavy-duty mast to withstand the additional torque and larger hoist cylinders for increased pullback capabilities. The DR-24HD is most commonly used in deep, large diameter applications such as municipal/industrial wells and mine de-watering.
Foremost Mobile Equipment - Mineral Exploration Drills
Foremost Apex - Mining Exploration Drill
The Apex 65 features a proprietary feed system that reduces maintenance costs, increases safety, and improves performance. With 65,000 lbs of pullback and the ability to be configured on tracks or chassis, the Apex 65 can satisfy a wide range of exploration requirements.
Discoverer - Tracked Exploration Drilling Rig
The leader in tracked off-road exploration drilling. The Discoverer MPD 1500 offers the same drill components and specifications as the Explorer 1500 with the added benefit of a tracked undercarriage. The MPD’s 1500 tracked configuration provides the ultimate in climbing ability on steep grades and side slopes. Like its terra-tired sibling, the MPD 1500 comes equipped with a hydraulic leveling deck and front dozer blade. The optional sample cyclone enables safe monitoring of cuttings and collection of samples.

Foremost - Drilling Floating Cushion Subs (FCS)
Foremost floating cushion subs (FCS) are utilized in both slant and vertical drilling operations to reduce vibration and wear of the drill string and drill rig components. Foremost manufactures several FCS models for mining, construction, water well and oilfield applications. The sliding spindle of the cushion sub permits the threads of the mating drill string components to float together or apart during rotation without any axial movement of the rotary drive. This decreases the impact on the rotary drive when the two mating threads are joined and decreases the load on the threads of the mating components.
Foremost - Drilling Floating Cushion Sub (FCS)
The Foremost Floating Cushion Sub is designed to be installed on Rotary Drilling Rigs below the gear box and into the drive spindle by means of a threaded connection. The Cushion Sub will reduce vertical shock transmitted by the bit while drilling using either DTH Hammer or Rotary Drilling methods. The two and one half inches (2 1/2”) of free – floating travel of the Piston allows the drill operator to make-up and break-out threaded connections with minimal flank loading on the threads of the drill pipe or casing. This float within the housing enables the drill operators to make-up casing threads with little or no thread damage when stabbing the connections together or taking them apart. The sub can be used in vertical and or slant drilling applications.
