amGardpro is the ultimate range of modular safety gate interlocks for heavy duty applications with a retention force of 10,000N.Its unique modular construction allows easy configuration; providing electro-mechanical solutions for practically any safeguardingapplication up to SIL3 (EN/IEC 62061), Category 4 and PLe (EN/ISO 13849-1).proNet is an addition to the amGardpro range that adds an Ethernet based networking capability to the product range.

The proNet module allows the features of amGardpro to become distributed IO (input-output) on an Ethernet/IP network; safety information is exchanged using the CIP Safety extensions. The unit can connect the following modules to an Ethernet/IP network; see individual datasheets for further details of the modules: A proLok safety switch with a vast array of options using modular adaptors, heads and actuators in the amGardpro range.

Used in conjunction with proAm Head. Heavy duty handle unit. Operating handle can be rotated in 45° increments. Allows for guard misalignment. Turning motion holds door closed preventing nuisance trips. Extremely high retention force when used in locking applications.

Actuator Head Element – THM. Ideally suited for authorised access only, or linked access to other machinery. 5 orientations (left, right, front, back and top). Can be used to lock door when used with keys or solenoid or just as mechanical link to safety contacts.

S40HS1 - Hinged Handle - Short Reach. Used in conjunction with the S40 Head. Particularly useful for applications using small radius hinged doors (250mm min). Stainless steel casing. Mis-alignment of ± 12mm.

The BMR and BMSR module is used to interlock circuit breakers, valves,earth switches etc.  It additionally provides electrical indication of the bolt position.

ATOM is a compact and ultra-robust RFID high coded solenoid interlocking device. As typical with products from Fortress Interlocks, ATOM is externally approved and is suitable for applications up to PLe (Cat. 4). The metal housing and high retention force then suits ATOM for heavier industry applications. High misalignment in the self-centring actuator covers any movement and inaccuracy in hinged and sliding door machine guarding. Additionally, ATOM’s head has an open design manufactured in stainless steel to prevent dust, dirt and corrosion from impacting performance.
