Honeycomb Panels
KC-Panels - Aluminum Honeycomb Cores Sheet
Aluminum honeycomb core were firstly applied in aerospace industry several decades ago. It is a very strong structure made from soft and relatively low-price material to achieve best cost efficiency. The aerospace-grade epoxy adhesive is applied uniformly onto aluminum foil in designated order and frequency by machine, and the foils will be stacked and hot pressed to form a block. Honeycomb slices will then be cut from the block and after fully expanded, the aluminum honeycomb core is made.
KC-Panels - Fiberglass Honeycomb Panels
Fiberglass honeycomb panels consists of two layers of fiberglass sheets, or one layer fiberglass and the other aluminum sheets, with aluminum honeycomb core in between. This type of panel is designated for backing of stone veneer panels for exterior cladding. Fiberglass itself has similar thermal conductivity with natural stone, therefore even under rapid temperature changes outdoor, stone and fiberglass move along in similar ranges, with keeps the stone veneer panel as a whole keeping straight with minimum bowing.
KC-Panels - Brick Cladding Panels with Honeycomb Backing
KCP’s brick honeycomb panels aim to turn traditional brick works into modular installation. By applying brick-alike porcelain tiles on top of one-piece aluminum honeycomb backing, our brick honeycomb panels preserve the beauty of traditional brick works, and at the same time providing key advantages say lightweight, fast and low-cost installation, longevity, dry installing, etc.

KC-Panels - Aluminum Honeycomb Panels with PVDF Coating
With PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) paint being coated on the aluminum sheets, these types of panels are applicable for exterior uses under sunlight and different weather. The aluminum honeycomb panels itself is a sandwich structure consists of two layers of aluminum sheets and aluminum honeycomb core in between. These three layers are bonded by modified epoxy adhesive from renowned brands which has specific product lines for aluminum honeycomb applications. With the characteristic of elastic and weather resistant, our aluminum honeycomb panels can be used under most extreme weather conditions ranging from -40 degree to 80 degree Celsius. It can be used as exterior cladding panels, roof panels, mold panels, marine panels, etc.
KC-Panels - Aluminum Honeycomb Panels with PE Coating
With PE (polyethylene) paint being coated onto the aluminum sheets, such panels are good for indoor decoration purpose and at the same time free of oxidation of aluminum. Comparing with other coating, PE is relatively lower priced so it is usually a popular choice for indoor use such as interior decoration, ceiling, partitions, aluminum furniture, etc. The aluminum honeycomb panels itself is a sandwich structure consists of two layers of aluminum sheets and aluminum honeycomb core in between. These three layers are bonded by modified epoxy adhesive from renowned brands which has specific product lines for aluminum honeycomb applications. Our guaranteed bonding grants for longevity of the panels.
KC-Panels - Aluminum Honeycomb Panels with Anodizing / Epoxy Coating
With anodizing aluminum, the honeycomb sheet panels as a whole can be free from oxidation, therefore it is an ideal choice for invisible side of the veneer panel, say stone honeycomb panels or others. Another type is epoxy coating aluminum, which also anti-corrosion, and at the same time significantly enhances the performance of glue-bonding, making the pull strength with honeycomb core over 2.0MPa. These two types of panels are mostly used for backing panels with other layer of material to be laminated on top, for example, natural stone, porcelain, wood veneer, solar components, etc.

KC-Panels - Stone Veneer Panels
KCP’s stone honeycomb panels consist of 5mm natural stone veneer on top and aluminum honeycomb panels as backing for reinforcement. All types of natural stone can be combined with honeycomb backing to form the panel, including but not limited to marble, granite, limestone, sandstone, travertine, basalt, etc. A wide variety of finishes also available such as polished, honed, bush hammering, sand blasted, leather finish, etc. The thin stone veneer is bonded with the backing by specifically developed epoxy adhesive. KCP works closely with internationally renowned adhesive brands to ensure that the glue applied on each individual stone panel fits for the use in even the most extreme conditions. For example, our stone honeycomb panel can endure vast temperature changes from -40 degree to 80 degree Celsius while the bonding strength stays at excellent level after decades.
KC-Panels - Porcelain / Sintered Stone Honeycomb Panel
KCP’s porcelain / sintered stone honeycomb panels consist of 3~10mm natural porcelain / sintered stone tile on top and aluminum honeycomb panels as backing for reinforcement. As technology advances, the porcelain slabs can now be as large as 1600*3200mm per piece, with minimum thickness of 3mm. A great variety of patterns can be printed on to the slabs, including stone pattern, wood vein, pure color, customized texture, etc. However the big size with minimum thickness makes the porcelain tile comparatively more fragile and difficult to install – Therefore aluminum honeycomb solution is the best implement for such applications.
KC-Panels - Brick-alike Ceramic Honeycomb Panels
KCP’s brick-alike ceramic honeycomb panels consist of 10mm-thick ceramic tile on top and aluminum honeycomb panels as backing for reinforcement. The ceramic tile highly imitates the look and texture of bricks while the whole panel will be grouted same as brick-installation processing.
KC-Panels - Curved Stone Honeycomb Panels
KCP’s curved stone honeycomb panels consist of 3mm-thick stone veneer on top and aluminum honeycomb panels as backing for reinforcement. The panel as a whole can be curved into required radius and at the same time keeping the feature of lightweight and material-saving.
