Foxcroft - Model FX-1000P - Amperometric Chlorine Analyzer

Manufactured since 1980, the  workhorse FX-1000P amperometric bare electrode chlorine analyzer was discontinued in the fall of 2014. Its direct replacement is the model FX-CLv2. Amperometric probe based systems are also available for free chlorine, click here for the FX-CL-F; and for total chlorine residual click here for the  FX-CL-T. While we continue to provide mechanical parts, motors and pumps for the FX-1000P, we can no longer repair or replace the displays or circuit boards. UPDATE March 2020: the buffer pump head has been discontinued by its manufacturer

Foxcroft - Model FX-CL-F - Free Chlorine Analyzer Reagentless

The model FX-CLF is virtually plug and play, pre-mounted with flow controls on a 12" x 24" PVC panel for quick and easy installation. A single 4-20mA output auto scaled to the sensor operating range. Temperature measurement and output is optional. Programmable high and low 1A SPDT alarm relays have an adjustable delay up to 5 minutes. Intuitive glass touch screen display and interface is similar in appearance and function to your smart phone. No flow alarm and data logging is optional Water resistant IP67/NEMA 4x Polycarbonate enclosure with UV stabilized clear door to protect the touchscreen. Microprocessor based 24VDC electronics using 88-264 VAC 50/60 Hz input via supplied 2-meter power cord.

Foxcroft - Model FX-CLv2 - Amperometric Chlorine Analyzer

Trying to use a membrane covered chlorine sensor in "dirty" water is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Chlorine sensor membranes clog in water with elevated levels of iron, calcium or suspended solids.

Foxcroft - Model FX-CL-T - Amperometric Total Chlorine Analyzer

The Foxcroft FX-CL-T amperometric total chlorine analyzer gives you a hassle free, lower cost way to measure total chlorine residual. Its continuous measurement and output is best suited for monitoring and process control in drinking water, wastewater effluent, sea water and pool water. Stability, no need for pH sensor calibration and no chemicals to replace makes the analyzer a good choice for unmanned booster stations or anywhere that hands off operation is needed.

Foxcroft - Model FX-CL-D - Chlorine Dioxide Analyzer Amperometric

The electronics in NEMA 4X fiberglass enclosure, sensor, flow cell and flow regulation are all mounted on a 12" x 24" panel for quick mounting and installation. A 4.3" full color glass touch screen displays concentration, alarm and processor status. Navigate the menu options by touching plain words instead of symbols or abbreviations. Includes a single voltage protected 4-20mA output. High and low residual alarms relays are SPDT dry contact rated at 1A. Actuation of programmable alarm levels can also be delayed up to 5 minutes. Universal AC input from anywhere in the world is accepted without user selection, 88-264VAC, 50/60 Hz. The 24VDC power supply and circuitry is protected by 6A fuse in the power entry module. The included 2-meter power cord connects to the analyzer via IEC #320-C13 connector and plant supply using a NEMA 5-15 connector.

Foxcroft - Model FX-300-F - Inline Reagentless Fluoride Analyzer

Our FX-300-F fluoride analyzer uses a robust combination ion selective electrode (ISE) to reduce the cost of ownership when measuring free fluoride ions in real time for drinking water fluoridation or fluoride reduction. Our customers typically obtain sensor life of 4-5 years while continuously monitoring or controlling in drinking water.

PID Set Point Controllers

Model FX-8500S - Single Loop Controller

The Foxcroft FX-8500S single loop PID set point controller can provide unattended automatic  chlorine residual control. The FX-8500S provides the vital link between chlorine analyzer and chemical feed device in a “closed-loop” chlorine residual control environment. It allows instantaneous chlorine feed changes based on residual feed back from the chlorine analyzer. The time compensation reflects the process time interval between chlorine injection and downstream chlorine residual sampling by the residual analyzer. This minimizes overshooting the desired setpoint. Manual tuning of data parameters is easily done via the built-in keypad and display. Under certain conditions, the Autotune feature can perform self-tuning of data parameters.

Model FX-8500C - Compound Loop Controller

The Foxcroft FX-8500C compound loop PID set point controller provides the vital link between chlorine analyzer, flowmeter, and chlorine feed device. Change chlorine feed rate instantly with changes in flowrate. Time-compensated changes based on residual feed back from the chlorine residual analyzer minimizes overshooting the desired setpoint. The unit has programmable reverse or forward control mode (into output summator) for Chlorine, Ammonia, or Sulfur Dioxide control systems. Options include Ethernet or Modbus® communication, or remote control from a central computer or SCADA.

The Foxcroft FX-1502 dual channel toxic gas  detector is perfect for simultaneously monitoring two different gases in a facility or one gas in two separate areas. The touch screen operated Foxcroft FX-1500v4 single channel gas leak detector with remote display is the easiest to set up and use. Included electrochemical gas sensors for chlorine, toxic gases and Oxygen deficiency are proven reliable. Special alarm levels and ranges are available on written request. An optional battery backup/surge protector is also available.
