R-1 and R1SC media are designed by Viledon for air make-up of paint spray booths or prefiltration for high efficiency final filters. The multiple synthetic layers combine a prefilter consisting of a high performance cover mat with a final filter of progressively structured media, thermally bonded and treated with a proprietary tackifier.

Viledon PA/560 G-10 micron is a progressively structured diffusion media created by viledon to optimize laminar air flow. Manufactured from thermally bonded synthetic fibers, viledon’s diffusion media has set the standard in paint booth filtration world wide. vildeon’s filtration superiority, known as the viledon difference, is highlighted by the following: PA/560 G-10 is designed for 100% efficiency on 10 micron particles and larger, and 99% on 5 micron particles.

micronAir particle filters protect against fine dusts, and also against pollens, road dust, abraded particles, soot, bacteria, industrial dusts and other respirable ultra-fine particles.

The combi filter provides long-lasting protection against the same harmful particles – and so much more. With an activated carbon layer, it also adsorbs odors and various gases, such as benzene or ozone. In addition to the small solid particles, gases that are up to ten million times smaller enter into the deep regions of the lungs. For example, the dangerous irritant ozone can cause reactions such as headache, throat irritation and watery eyes. The activated carbon layer of the micronAir combi cabin air filter removes up to 99 percent of the ozone.

The cabin air filters of the micronAir proTect line offer drivers and passengers the best possible protection inside the vehicle. In addition to the advantages of the particle and combi filter, this premium cabin air filter reliably and lastingly captures nearly 100 percent of fine dust, virtually 100 percent of all allergens ≥ 2 µm and mold microspores present in the air flow. The micronAir proTect line is based on a new type of material design with four filter layers that combine various filter properties. For instance, synthetic fibers of various sizes capture the coarse to ultra-fine dust particles. The reliable adsorption of odors and gases is achieved by the activated carbon layer. The allergen protection is ensured by a functional layer that very efficiently and lastingly denatures the allergens. Additives free of nano-silver ions with high long-term stability and scientifically shown to be safe for humans are used in the layer.

Combustion engines need clean air to maintain high performance.
