Groundwater Remediation

Mobile Remediation
Dual-phase extraction uses a vacuum system to remove various combinations of contaminated groundwater, separate-phase petroleum product, and vapors from the subsurface. The system lowers the water table around the well, exposing more of the formation. Contaminants in the newly exposed vadose zone are then accessible to vapor extraction. Once above ground, the extracted vapors or liquid-phase organics and ground water are separated and treated.
Pilot Studies
Effective design of a remedial system is dependent on site specific parameters that can only be accurately determined through onsite testing. The same proven technology we use during our mobile dual-phase remediation service, can also perform extremely accurate site analysis for designing fixed based remediation systems. By using our variable speed rotary lobe pump system we are able to infinitely step the vacuum levels during the process to determine the optimum flow rate/vacuum level for the site. This information is then provided to the engineer for proper system design specifications. During the pilot study, our technicians also collect extremely valuable surrounding well data, including water level readings before, during & after as well as digital influence vacuum at the surrounding wells.
