The Smart Meter-Master Program enables the user to program all of the hardware configured Smart Meter-Master input and output channels. You can select 2-wire or 3-wire Sensus, Neptune, and Elster connections, and, if you want an encoder output to match an encoder input, you simply select ‘pass-thru’, in which case the encoder output will exactly match the encoder input. Configuration files can be saved to and loaded from your PC. This program also provides numerous graph and report options for data files downloaded from the Smart Meter-Master.

The Model 100 Program software is compatible with all versions of Windows and interfaces with the Model 100EL and 100AF Flow Recorders, Model 100P Pressure Recorder, and the Model 100XP Pressure Recorder. It is used to program the recorders, download data, and generate graphs and reports. The software performs all interface functions with the recorders, including initialization, downloading, and displaying current values using the Realtime Display. Data is downloaded into an Access format so that the MeterSizer software is able to easily import raw flow data and perform its analyses.

MeterSizer automatically calculates the projected accuracy percentage of each alternative meter type and size when a downloaded Model 100EL Flow Recorder datafile is loaded into the program and ranks them from best to worst. In order to calculate the annual revenue increase or decrease associated with each alternative meter option, utility-specific financial information is entered, including billing rates, wastewater rates (if based on usage), minimum/fixed charges, meter purchase costs, and meter changeout costs. The accuracy calculations may be performed without entering any financial information. A graph is also shown for each meter option projecting the actual usage data against the specified flow ranges for each meter type and size.
