Gas Diffusion Electrodes - Platinum Based Electrode

Fuel-Cells-Etc - Platinum on Vulcan-Carbon Cloth Electrode

A low-cost electrode utilizing a woven carbon cloth substrate and a 20% Platinum on Vulcan Carbon support catalyst.  This low loading is designed for cost sensitive applications and is suitable for electrochemical systems needing low amounts of Platinum to support the reaction.  This electrode is perfect for Hydrogen/Air Fuel Cell applications where the extra cost of the higher loading GDE may not be justified. The Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) used is a standard carbon cloth with MPL which is 410 microns thick. Other GDL materials are also available by custom request, as are custom sizes and loadings.

Metal Hydride

CL - Metal Hydride

The CL-910 metal hydride has a Hydrogen Capacity of 819-910 standard liters (31.14-31.96 scf) and a recharge time of ~48 hours. ALLOY CHOICES If you want to see a pressure-composition isotherm and a pressure-temperature Van`t Hoff plot for each alloy, click the link for the alloy of interest: Alloy A or Alloys L, M, H . Alloy A contains iron and titanium. Alloys L, M and H contain rare earth metals and nickel. Alloy A is less expensive than Alloys L, M or H. This makes no difference in prices of smaller containers because assembly labor cost dominates production costs. On larger containers, we must charge extra because of higher alloy costs.
