Air Valves - Air Release Valves
VAG GA Industries - Air Release Valve for Water, Compact Simple Lever
VAG GA Industries Figures 905 and 905H are used to minimize the build up of air in water pipes and systems by automatically and efficiently releasing air that has collected in the valve while under pressure and operational. The valve`s heavy duty construction and corrosion resistant materials make it durable and low maintenance. Figures 905 and 905H meet the design, materials of construction and testing required by AWWA C512 and are suitable for use with clean water.
VAG GA Industries - Air Release Valve for Water, Simple Lever
VAG GA Industries Simple Lever Air Release Valve automatically releases air that collects at high points in the system, which increases operating efficiency and reduces cost. It has a relatively large standard orifice to minimize plugging and a Buna-N seat, rendering it suitable for both hot (up to 180°F) and cold water applications.
Air Valves - Air & Vacuum Valves
VAG GA Industries - Air & Vacuum Valve for Water
VAG GA Industries Figure 930 Air & Vacuum Valves efficiently vent air from pipelines and systems as they are being filled with water and then close tight once the system is full and pressurized. They automatically open to admit air to limit vacuum formation when the pipeline or system is drained and/or a negative pressure occurs in the valve. Figure 930 Air & Vacuum Valves are typically installed at system high points where air naturally rises during filling and vacuum first forms during draining. The valve only has one moving part, and its simple construction ensures dependable, long-term operation.
Air Valves - Combination Valves
GA Industries - Combination Air Valve for Sewage, Single Body
GA Industries Figure 942 Combination Air Valves employ a large and small orifice in a single body to efficiently vent air and gas from sewage forcemains. Air is vented through the large orifice as the system is filled and then it close tight once the system is full and pressurized. Residual air and gas is released through the small orifice while the system is in operation. The large orifice automatically opens to admit air when the forcemain is drained and/or a negative pressure occurs in the valve.
Eccentric Plug Valves
GA Industries - 3-Way 100% Port Plug Valve
The GA Industries Figure 513 is a ruggedly designed 3-way plug valve used to divert inlet flow to one of two outlet ports or to simultaneously connect all three ports. The valve has a port area equivalent to 100% of the inside area of the adjacent pipe for low head loss. The rubber coated tapered plug can be externally adjusted for long term sealing and the self-adjusting shaft packing can be replaced without disturbing the bonnet. The valve can be operated by a manual lever or gearbox or automatically by an electric motor or pneumatic actuator.
Ball & Cone Valves - Resilient Seated Ball Valves
GA Industries - AWWA Ball Valve, Resilient Seated
The GA Industries R201are quarter-turn, full ported AWWA C507 ball valves specifically designed for pump control service. The valves control surges during pump start and shutdown as well as provide virtually zero head loss while pumping for low cost of ownership. The R201’s one-piece, top entry design means the valve can be completely serviced while the body remains bolted in line. Further, its side access port allows the resilient seat to be inspected, adjusted or replaced without valve disassembly or removal of adjacent piping. These and many other standard features make this valve the ideal solution for surge control for long term, high volume water and wastewater pumping.
Ball & Cone Valves - Metal Seated Ball Valves
GA Industries - AWWA Ball Valve, Metal-to-Metal Seated
GA Industries metal seated ball valves fully conform with AWWA Standard C507 and are suitable for use in both water and sewage systems. The valve’s compact design and virtually zero headloss when fully open make it a preferred pump control valve or critical service isolating valve.
Surge Relief Valves
GA Industries - Weight Loaded Relief Valve for Water, Sewage and Sludge
Size: 2" to 12". Valve Type: Surge Relief Valve. Fluid: Wastewater, Water. Protects systems from excessively high pressure caused by pump stoppage or valve closure. Straight through design offers no restrictions to flow and is ideal for use with sewage or sludge. Especially well suited to protect progressive cavity pumps should its discharge become blocked.
Check Valves - Ball Check Valves
GA Industries - Ball Check Valve
GA Industries Figures 240T, 240-D and 242-D Ball Check Valves are non-clogging check valves that provide dependable, trouble free service in storm water, wastewater and sewage pumping applications. The valves have no external moving parts and are ideal for use with submersible pumps because they can be installed inside the wetwell, above or below the water surface.
Pump Control Valves
CHECKtronic - Pump Control Valve
The CHECKtronic® Pump Control Valve has evolved from GA’s extensive experience in the design of automatic control valves to control surges associated with the starting and stopping of pumps. Its innovative design incorporates a fail-safe check feature into an electric motor operated valve, providing the ideal combination of surge control and positive closure upon power outage, pump or motor failure, or other emergencies.
