GAB-Neumann - Annular Groove Heavy-Duty Graphite Condensers

With their specific design our annular groove heavy-duty graphite condensers are especially adapted to the condensation of highly corrosive vapors. Annular groove heavy-duty graphite condensers transfer heat from a condensing vapor to a cooling medium. Graphite discs are machined to create annular grooves on the service side and large, banana-shaped channels on the process side. Heat is transferred by conduction through the impervious graphite left between the process and the service channels. Annular groove heavy-duty graphite condensers consist of a stack of discs that are fused together.

Annular groove graphite partial condensers are especially adapted to the condensation of highly corrosive vapors. Their specific design allows the efficient condensation of vapors containing proportionally large amounts of non-condensable. They can also be efficient gas coolers. Annular groove graphite partial condensers transfer heat from a condensing vapor to a cooling medium. Graphite discs are machined to create annular grooves on service side and series of holes on the process side. Heat is transferred by conduction through the impervious graphite left between the process and the service channels. Annular groove graphite partial condensers consist in a stack of discs that are fused together.

GAB-Neumann - Annular Groove Isothermal Graphite Absorbers

Annular groove isothermal graphite absorbers are graphite heat exchangers adapted to the absorption of ultra-corrosive gases such as hydrochloric, bromhydric or hydrofluoric acids. The equipment works as a number of water cooled-wall tiny columns in parallel. Each tiny column is provided with a liquid distribution system on top to ensure the uniform distribution of both liquid and gas and also form a thin liquid film at the surface of the column.

Graphite columns are designed for the distillation of ultra-corrosive fluids as well as the washing, absorption, or scrubbing of ultra-corrosive gases. Each graphite column is custom-made to best fit with existing process requirements. They consist in graphite cylindrical sections that are stacked one above the other.

GAB-Neumann - Graphite Quenches

Quenches are used in various industries to instantaneously cool down hot gases coming from kilns, ovens, incinerators, and other flue gas sources. Graphite quenches are adapted to the rapid cooling of ultra-corrosive hot gases (up to 1300°C inlet temperature) and prevent the re-synthesis of dioxins and furans. Quenches are gas liquid contactors used to achieve mass and heat transfer between a continuous gas phase that might contain pollutants or/and dispersed solid particles and a dispersed liquid phase. GAB Neumann offer spray, pipe, or Venturi graphite quenches.
