The heart of the QuasIR™ 4000 FT-NIR Spectrometer is our PermAlign™ optics technology, an innovative optical design that maintains alignment and performance under conditions from the routine to the extreme. The QuasIR 1000 is an FT-NIR spectrometer that brings together portability with unmatched spectroscopic performance.  It features a transmission chamber that can hold various sizes of cuvettes and glass vials up to 10mm.  Optional temperature control is offered; the sample compartment can be heated to 100^°C or cooled to 20^°C, for a wide range of applications. Liquid samples such as edible oils, lubricants, and fuels can be easily analyzed for quality control or adulteration.

Galaxy Scientific’s QuasIR 2000E process FT-NIR analyzer is designed for continuous measurement of the chemical composition of material transported on a conveyor belt, through a pipe, or in a chute.  Our unique external projection optics use high powered tungsten lamps to illuminate the sample from as far as 30 inches away and collect the scattered reflection off the sample through a fiber optic cable. The analysis spot size can be set as small as 3″ or as large as 6″ in diameter and can be custom tailored to applications needs.
