CHEMetrics - Non-Instrumental Test Kits

CHEMetrics visual test kits are self-contained kits that do not require any additional equipment, such as a photometer or other instrumentation, to use. This makes them cost effective as well as highly portable, fast and convenient. CHEMetrics visual test kits comprise both Visual Colourimetric test kits (CHEMets and VACUettes) and Titrimetric test kits (Titrets) and cover virtually every water quality analyte in the CHEMetrics range. For more information on how these kits work, please see the Test Methods page. The core technology at the heart of these non-instrumental test kits is the CHEMetrics Self-Filling Reagent Ampoule. Premixed. Premeasured. Precise. Each kit contains 30 ampoules for 30 tests. Additional refill packs of 30 ampoules are available for each CHEMets and VACUettes kit. Titrets do not employ colour comparators and are self-contained, consumable items. Please note that the units 'ppm' are equivalent to 'mg/l'.

CHEMetrics - Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) Photometric Testing System

CHEMetrics offers two dichromate reactor digestion methods (USEPA-accepted and Mercury-free) for fast, easy, safe determinations of COD levels in waste water — at about 30% lower cost than competitor's vials! Our COD Reagent Vials can be used with CHEMetrics® photometers and with spectrophotometers that accept 16 mm diameter round bottom cells. CHEMetrics - Multi-Analyte Photometers

CHEMetrics® handheld, portable V-3000 Photometer offers cutting edge technology for applications in the field and in the laboratory. Intuitive and easy to use, the menu guides the analyst through all measuring tasks and is pre-programmed with 50+ calibrations, using both CHEMetrics Vacu-vials® ampoules and MDL+ test kits (see below), making this instrument the perfect partner in the field whatever the application. Web-based methods update and data logging for 100 data sets. The V-2000 Photometer is a field-portable instrument that automatically tests pre-programmed analytes employing CHEMetrics both Vacu-vials® ampoules and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) vials. It is best suited for those who want to test COD in addition to other analytes.

CHEMetrics - Single Analyte Meters (SAMs)

CHEMetrics offers a range of dedicated photometers known as Single Analyte Meters (SAMs), for measurement of sample ampoules and vials. Each SAM is programmed to analyse one specific analyte (see below). Our SAM range offers an unprecedented blend of simplicity, convenience of use, features, performance and value for money, providing results equivalent to probes and meters costing considerably more. The rugged, waterproof units feature a large display with optional backlight. The last 16 data points (with a time and date stamp) are automatically stored which can be easily recalled using the Menu function. The SAM photometer is supplied as part of a SAM Kit, containing everything required to start testing. The SAM Kit comes in a portable plastic case and typically contains: SAM Photometer, pack of 30 Vacu-vials*, 4 x AAA batteries, screwdriver and instructions. Additional packs of ampoules or vials are available separately for all the SAM kits.

CHEMetrics - Photometric Test Kits

CHEMetrics offers a comprehensive range of photometric, colourimetric test kits for testing a variety of water quality analytes. CHEMetrics Vacu-vials Test Kits employ CHEMetrics patented Self-Filling Reagent Ampoules for convenient, efficient and safe testing. Our photometric test kits are designed for use with two types of CHEMetrics photometer, the V-2000 Multi-Analyte Photometer, and dedicated, direct reading photometers, called Single Analyte Meters (SAMs). Virtually all the photometric test kits are V-2000 compatible. SAMs are available for a subset of the available Vacu-vials test kits. Please see the table below for compatibility.

CHEMetrics - Meters

We offer a range of dedicated instruments for measuring certain physical water properties. These are reliable, handheld, portable water resistant, electrode-based meters with a digital read out on a large, easy to read digital display for simplicity of use, for laboratory or field use. They can be used on a variety of qualities of water, from clean, transparent water to very contaminated or dirty water. The CHEMetrics CTS Testr™ is a 3-in-1 combination meter measuring Conductivity, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and Salinity. The pH Double Junction Meter is a dedicated pH testing meter. Both meters provide direct readings of water samples and do not require test kits or reagents. Features include sample temperature display, optional temperature compensation, a hold mode when withdrawing the meter from the sample and a calibration mode. The CTS Testr™ also features a backlight. The meters require periodic calibration using calibration solutions, dependent on requirements.
