Gamma Meccanica - Stitched Mattresses Production Line

The stitched mattresses production line is designed to treat the rock wool felts produced on the main line. The stitched mattresses consist of a rock wool felt stitched on a support. They are mainly used for the insulation of cylindrical surfaces (pipes, ducts, tanks), conical and in general for wide surfaces of irregular form. The production of stitched mattresses foresees the application of a support as metallic mesh (zinc-coated or inox) or more rarely aluminium, paper or glass tissue.

Gamma Meccanica - Lamella Mat Production Lines

The lamella mat production lines produce mats with vertically “oriented” fibers: these products have high compressive strength, though have relatively low density. Starting from stacks of glass wool or rock wool boards it is possible to obtain strips of material (lamellas) which are then rotated till the fibers become vertically oriented and then aligned. In the next part of the process a continuous mat is coupled with facing material (aluminium, glass tissue, bituminous casing). The mat is trimmed and cut at required width and length, then it’s rolled up or stacked and packed. The lamella mat production line guarantees a high efficiency and it is completely automatic.

Ceiling tiles market in the last years grow up and changed is trend: the old standard ceiling tiles panel (made by a mix of cement and fiber) are now replaced by a new generation product (made by mineral wool) more easy to produce and effective as thermal and acoustic insulation , preserving the Aesthetics & Design. For this reason Gamma Meccanica propose this line: easy to install and manage, with high flexibility, low consumption and excellent payback (ceiling tiles are a high added value product). The purpose of this line is facing of ceiling tiles with non-woven glass fibre tissue precoated with non combustible paint. The primary material is mineralwool board.

Gamma Meccanica - Glass Wool Production Line

A complete glass wool production line consists of several machines that transform the mix of silica sands and other components into glass wool boards or felt (cured or uncured). The first stage of the process consists of storage and mixing of raw materials. Then goes melting and fiberizing, feeding of binding agents (phenolic resin, organic or acrylic binding agent) and curing. At the curing oven output the felt is cooled and trimmed lengthwise to achieve required width. The trimmed edges are automatically recovered and put back into the production process.

Gamma Meccanica pipe sections production lines allows the production of finished products for special applications, using the products derived from main process lines. These lines are characterized by high efficiency and productivity, they canwork both with glass wool and rock wool. The pipe section production lines for glass wool can be installed whether in line or out of line, while the lines for rockwool are installed exclusively out of line.

Gamma Meccanica - Plastic Recycling System

The TANDEM technology applied to the recycling of heavily printed, contaminated and high humidity plastic materials guarantees the excellent quality of the granule with a notable energy savings in comparison with conventional recycling systems that foresee the re-extrusion of the material. The plant is composed of a COMPAC unit and two extruders arranged in succession. The short, non-vented primary extruder and the larger diameter secondary extruder allow for a reduction of the cutting forces (“shear rate”) and stress less the melted material.
