The dosimetry service with alanine dosemeters is carried out by our technicians on site in the irradiation equipment. The crystalline alanine in the dosimeter reacts to the absorbed radiation dose with the formation of free radicals, which are then determined and measured by spectroscopy. The evaluation of alanine tablets is carried out in an evaluation laboratory. Afterwards, the technicians check the device-specific preparation of the result log before the results are transmitted to the customer as part of a dosimetry report.
