FlavourSpec - Sensitive Analyser for Food, Flavour and Beverage Testing

The FlavourSpec® comprises advantages of a Gas Chromatograph (GC) with regard to selectivity and outstanding sensitivity of an Ion Mobility Spectrometer (IMS) enabling the analysis of volatiles in the headspace of liquids and solid samples without any sample pre-treatment. The FlavourSpec operates isotherm in a range of 40-80°C and can be set to >100°C for baking out (cleaning). To better separate compounds the instrument uses a firmware steered ramping by its  integrated Electronic Pneumatic Controller.

BreathSpec - Gas Chromatograph-Ion Mobility Spectrometer for VOC Trace Detection

BreathSpec: Analyser to test volatile Substances directly from Human Breath. The BreathSpec® consists of a Gas Chromatograph (GC) and an Ion Mobility Spectrometer (IMS) and is optimised for the sensitive detection of traces of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) directly in human breath. The configuration of the BreathSpec® allows you to separate the high amount of moisture present in human breath by a GC column whilst still maintaining the extraordinary sensitivity of the IMS of the low ppbv-range for the relevant volatile organic substances that are used as markers for illnesses or toxic chemicals that have been inhaled by a human.

GAS - Model Analytical-IMS - Ion Mobility Spectrometer

The A-IMS (Analytical - Ion Mobility Spectrometer) offers excellent features for highspeed sensitive detection of gaseous traces of VOCs. Using the A-IMS measurement results are obtained within seconds while detection limits in the ppbv- or even pptv-range can be achieved. The modular concept and accessibility of parameters allows it to configure and fine-tune the A-IMS according to the specific analytical application. The availability of different sample inlets (direct inlet, membrane inlet system or electrical six-port-valve with sample loop), a manual or automatic operation modes as well as the easy in use data acquisition, analysis, and visualization software LAV describe the flexibility and make up the usefulness of the A-IMS as analytical tool. Thus the device can be applied for quality control, measurements of residual solvents, product or ingredients authentication, GC detector, research & development etc.

GAS - Model N2 5.0 - High-Purity Nitrogen Gas Generator for Analytical Instrumentation

Continuous operation with nitrogen of highest grade generated from enriched ambient air. When testing for volatiles at ppb or even sub ppb-level it is of outmost importance to run the detectors like ion mobility spectrometers with an operating gas of highest purity in order to avoid backround contamination and by that assure best performance of the instrumentation. The N2-Generator of G.A.S. was particularly developed for the autonomous, mobile and by that flexible use of analytical devices where zero air is no option e.g. testing of flammable gases. Using the N2-Generator makes cylinder management redundant and allows analyzers to be operated continuously (24/7) with nitrogen of highest grade (5.0) generated from enriched ambient air.

GAS - Ion Mobility Spectrometer (IMS) Trace Detector for Benchtop Gas Chromatograph

IMS-detector offers outstanding sensitivity, a second dimension of separation (full orthogonality) and is free from licencing. The Ion Mobility Spectrometer (IMS) by G.A.S. mbH enables the use of the IMS technology coupled to temperature ramped benchtop gas chromatographs (GC) and by that in very demanding analytical applications where high separation capabilities and/or sensitivity are needed. Compared to other detectors the IMS offers a second dimension of separation and by that full orthogonality so that co-eluting compounds can still be separated before they are detected at low-/sub ppb level. According to the laws of IMS which operates at atmospheric pressure ions are separated by their mass and structure. By that even isomeric compounds can be separated from each other.

GAS - Model GC-IMS - Gas Chromatograph - Ion Mobility Spectrometer

The Gas Chromatograph - Ion Mobility Spectrometer (GC-IMS) of G.A.S. combines the high selectivity of a Gas Chromatograph with the extraordinary sensitivity of an IMS (typically low ppbv range). The technical configurations with gas chromatographic (GC) columns include standard capillary (15-60m) or multi-capillary of various stationary phases that are selected acc. to the requirements of the analytical assignments. The GC-IMS has integrated temperature and flow controler allowing firmware steered ramping to better separate highly volatile compounds and shorten run times which is decissive QC related assignments. The availability of positive same as negative ionisation modes enables the applicability for a wide range of substances e.g. ketones, aldehydes, alcohols, amines, phosphor organics same as chlorinated or halogenated compounds.

GAS - Model GC-IMS-ODOR - Stand-Alone Deveice for On-Line Monitoring Tool

The GC-IMS-ODOR is a stand-alone instrument, which has been developed to precisely quantify the concentration of Gasodor®-S-Free®, THT or TBM in natural gas. Besides power the GC-IMS-ODOR only needs N2 or synthetic air as drift and carrier gas for operation. Driving from spot to spot its one-klick operation accessible via the 6,4“ TFT touch screen display allows to securely carry out on-site tests manually even by non-specialists. Upon completion of a measurement after approx. 4 minutes values are automatically stored on the integrated compact flash card. They can be downloaded via USB stick or Ethernet cable connection to PC at the end of a shift. Reports are available as user friendly Excell tables or directly printable from pdf.files.
