We are experienced in working with architects, developers, and regulators to identify and delineate jurisdictional wetlands. Our wetlands professionals are adept at preparing alternative analysis reports, Section 404 permit applications, restoration and mitigation plans, and wetlands maintenance and monitoring services.

The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I ESA) process is intended to satisfy one of the requirements to qualify for the innocent landowner, contiguous property owner, or bona fide prospective purchaser limitations on CERCLA liability: that is, the practices that constitute all appropriate inquiry into the previous ownership and uses of the property consistent with good commercial or customary practice. Geo-Source, Inc. utilizes the ASTM Standard Practice E 1527-05, enacted into law and codified as 40 CFR 312.

Geo-Source, Inc. has performed environmental assessments on over 6 million acres of timberland property throughout the United States and Central America. Our staff includes registered foresters and other environmental professionals with relevant experience to understand the practices of silviculture and other forestry operations. We are well versed in forestry best management practices, wildlife management and protection and issues involving cultural resources and other sensitive areas. We have several clients who seek our assistance with qualifying their acquired properties for forest certification and other distinguished recognitions, which often involves the evaluation of property for threatened and endangered species habitat.

The wildlife biology and ecology expertise of Geo-Source, Inc. position us well to provide our clients with due diligence services pertaining to the potential presence of federal and state listed threatened and endangered species, pursuant to the federal Endangered Species Act. Whether needed as a stand-alone evaluation or as a value added service to an environmental site assessment or wetland delineation, Geo-Source, Inc. coordinates with federal and state agencies to research documented occurrences and evaluates existing site conditions and relevant natural resource features in the course of the evaluation. Geo-Source, Inc.is also experienced in conducting on-site biological surveys for a growing number of listed species.
