Rockfall Protection Barrier ASM
Rockfall protection barrier absorbs energy due to deformation of the structure and crushing elements. The main elements of construction are: flexible hinged posts and support for them, ring net ASM, steel bearing ropes, brakes-absorbers of kinetic energy of impact, cable anchors with flexible head. With an excellent combination of strength and flexibility, our barriers can withstand impacts of rocks with energies up to 5000 kJ, which is equivalent to the direct impact of 12 ton truck moving at a speed of 100 km/h.
Rockfall Protection drape ASM
Rock slope drapery system is the most simple and effective solution for rockfall protection. The main function of the drape is to control trajectory of falling rock blocks by limiting space between slope and net surfaces. Consequently, the velocity of fall and kinetic energy of rock impact are reduced. Drapery system requires a flat accumulation zone for debris rocks at bottom of the slope.Mud-flow barrier ASM
Flexible mudflow barriers attributed to the form mudflow catching structures. Main purpose of the structure - to stop debris flow and retain its solid component in the upstream. Mudflow barriers can be installed across the channel in single configuration or in form of cascade barriers one by one. Mudflow barriers are installed from side to side of the valley. Between the lower bearing rope and the bottom of the valley leaves an opening for unobstructed passing of runoff and wild animals. Main element of the barrier – is original steel ring net ASM with a tensile strength up to 1000 kN/m. Ring net installed on top and bottom ropes. Ropes through absorbers goes flexible cable anchors, grouted in the sides of the valley. Depending on the height of the barrier for strengthening of mother net additional intermediate ropes also can be used. Snow retention barriers are installed in avalanche starting area and work with static loads on the entire depth of snow cover. The most important part of structure - trapezoidal panels of ASM ring net which forms a plane perpendicular to the direction of snow sliding down a slope.
