Engineering Geology

Geocon provides engineering geologic services for many types of clients including design professionals, public agencies, developers, mining companies, and the construction industry. Our in-house staff provides a full range of engineering geologic services from feasibility studies and geologic investigations to professional reviews of projects. Projects are managed by a Certified Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer with oversight by a principal of the company to produce technically sound, defensible, and economically feasible solutions to complex geologic problems. We accomplish this by considering costs and client needs relative to schedule, site conditions, and technical requirements. Clients appreciate our innovative and practical solutions to complex geological problems and rely on us for advice and consultation on project after project.

Construction Inspection

To confirm compliance with our engineering recommendations, we are commonly retained to provide quality assurance testing services during construction. We also provide a full range of special inspection services. Our field technicians and inspectors maintain current certifications including International Code Council (ICC), National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), American Concrete Institute (ACI), and Caltrans.
