Harvel uses its own custom blend of PVC compound to ensure that desirable physical properties are maintained with every production run. Harvel PVC piping exhibits exceptional consistent quality with uniform properties; making it the preferred choice of fabricators and custom houses. Harvel`s product line has grown to include standard and custom extrusions of PVC pipe in schedules 40, 80, and 120; as well as SDR series pipe produced to 13.5, 21, 26 and 41 dimensions. In addition to a full range of sizes, Harvel also offers various options including: belled end, gasketed, roll grooved, and threaded pipe ends, as well as custom dimensions and lengths. Harvel PVC pipe is ideal for numerous applications including chemical processing, high purity applications, water and waste water treatment, potable water systems, agricultural, irrigation, plating, and many other industrial applications involving corrosive fluid transfer.

CPVC is similar to PVC, but is treated with chlorine to create a material that is more heat and highly resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohols, and many other corrosive materials. Our Corzan® CPVC compound also has impressive fire resistant qualities-meaning it is very difficult to ignite. This may be useful in applications that require ignited heat sources or in situations that are prone to fire. The wide range of joining options that include solvent welding, threaded and mechanical connections make it ideal for easy, error free installations.

BlazeMaster pipe—manufactured by GF Harvel—is listed for more applications than any other non-metallic system. Clean, fast installation cuts project completion time, and because installation is so simple, it provides substantial cost savings over metal systems.

A recent breakthrough in material technology has resulted in unique piping with good optical properties and exceptional fire performance characteristics. Harvel FlameTech Containment Piping Offers the Following Benefits: Good Fire Performance Characteristics – low flame spread and low smoke generation during fire exposure. High heat distortion temperature. Chemical distribution tubing can be continually monitored for leaks by visual inspection. Engineered to offer a unique set of physical properties, GF Harvel duct provides an array of industries with a lightweight, long-lasting, and cost-effective option for corrosive fume exhaust and drain handling systems. GF Harvel PVC duct provides excellent resistance to corrosion for industrial and institutional applications. It can safely carry a maximum service temperature of 140°F. GF Harvel CPVC duct has exceptional fire resistance, high heat distortion temperature and good mechanical strength. It can safely carry a maximum service temperature of 200ªF. Both PVC and CPVC duct are available in 6` through 24` diameters.
