Environmental Services

GFA International has been providing turn-key Environmental Services since our inception in 1988. The Professional Engineers, Professional Geologists and Environmental Professionals at GFA have diverse educational backgrounds, vast experience with the ever-changing environmental regulations, and a strong commitment to contributing to the onservation of Florida"s delicate ecosystem. This knowledge and dedication  allows us to negotiate in good faith with Federal, State and  Local Regulatory Agencies to ensure the best  possible outcome for our Clients, while protecting Florida"s natural resources.

Geotechnical Engineering

GFA provides a full range of geotechnical services for a broad range of clients. These services begin at conceptual and preliminary design, continue through the development of final plans and specifications and conclude with consultation and coordination during construction.

Construction Materials Testing

Sound structures require sound construction testing and inspection practices. GFA International prides itself in providing thorough and accurate results you can depend on. With competent project management, you receive reliable information in a timely and cost effective manner. A full scope of construction materials testing services is provided at GFA, including all laboratory testing and standard field tests required on asphalt, concrete, soils, masonry, aggregates and non-destructive testing. Both in the field and in the laboratory, our technical teams conduct all of the required tests promptly and efficiently.

Private Provider Services

Effective October 1, 2002, Florida Statute 553.791 allows the fee owner of a proposed building to use a private provider to perform building code required plan reviews and/or minimum mandatory building code required inspections for compliance with the Florida Building Code and Local Amendments. The Statute allows the private provider to perform these services on the building components that are within the disciplines covered by that person’s licensure and is further limited to the structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and accessibility components of the building.
