Development of customized and comprehensive waste management systems
We offer integrated waste service kits that will take care of: the avoidance or the treatment and utilization of industrial waste, the treatment and utilization of inherited and /or contaminated waste, regulation and intervention in case of claims and damages. Treatment of industrial wastes First of all, we take stock of the whole waste situation. Thorough chemical and technological investigations are then carried out. Our team of experts develops a customized waste management solution for our clients. We then implement our solution based on our customized proposal and take care of all the stages that make up our waste management solution. This is our integrated approach to your waste problems. Remedial methods for inherited and/or contaminated waste; regulation and intervention in case of claims and damages. After assessing the inherited and/or contaminated waste, we evaluate the hazard level of the waste. Our labs follow through with the development and trial of various treatment and recycling processes. We then develop an appropriate remedial proposal based on our tests. After having checked with local authorities whether our remedial method may be carried out, we take charge of monitoring and executing our recycling and disposal program.
Consulting Services
We consult with power plants and MSWI plants about residues. With our expertise and know-how we co-operate with power plants and installations for municipal waste incineration, hazardous waste incineration and clinical waste incineration which have been retrofitted with flue gas scrubbing systems e.g in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece, China, Portugal, Ireland and Thailand. We offer solutions that can treat, utilize, stabilize or immobilize these residual materials in a non-polluting way. Our consulting services include dumping ground (final storage) solutions and logistical proposals, as well as the planning and supply of the necessary treatment and disposal plants. Just to name a few of our international projects: we have already delivered our successful waste management systems to companies in Portugal, Slovakian Republic, the Netherlands, Greece and Ireland.
Supply and Recovery Services
GFR offers consulting services for material recovery and the treatment of the following wastes: Residues from the combustion of coal, paper or wood, also of sewage sludge e.g. fly ash and FGD products from flue gas cleaning. Other wastes from incineration plants e.g. bottom ash and carbonate sludges. We use the following methods for waste treatment and material recovery: Utilization of the intrinsic solidification potential of these wastes (e.g. back-filling and recultivation of erstwhile gypsum surface mines and underground mines, dumps and landfill sites). Utilization of residual components as building materials (material recovery). Innovative ideas of waste utilization.
