Titanium

Baoji - Titanium Bar

Niobium

Baoji - Niobium Sheet

Giant Metal produce niobium sheet by vacuum electron beam melting technology. First, melt the not forging niobium bar into niobium ingot by vacuum electron beam melting technology. There are two ways of smelting, single smelting and multiple smelting. Usually we smelt two times, or it can be more than two times depending on the product specific requirements. Second, forging and axial breakdown niobium ingot and make it into niobium slab, then take it for annealing treatment and cleaning. After several times of rolling and annealing finally get the high quality niobium sheet. The unique way of rolling and annealing, temperature and time control that Giant Metal have guarantees the excellent quality. And our production of niobium in mechanical properties and microstructure is superior to other company`s.

Molybdenum

Baoji - Molybdenum Wire

At Giant Metal, molybdenum wire is processed by the semi-finished products of molybdenum bar. We use the method of hot stretch, repeatedly stretch the molybdenum bar for many times, until make it into wire. In the process of production of molybdenum bar, the exquisite processing technology helps improve the quality of molybdenum bars surface. The defects such as the surface burr and the concave surface are reduced. So the surface quality and the consistency of wire diameter of our production were superior to rotary swaging production of similar products.

Tungsten

Baoji - Tungsten Wire

First we use of isostatic pressing technology to die casting tungsten powder into tungsten bar, then sintering with high temperature , the density of sintered tungsten bar will reach more than 85% of the theoretical value. it is used to manufacture the diameter around 3 mm tungsten bars by Rotary forging method. Then further use mold stretching method produce different diameter of tungsten wire.
