Glasco - PVC UV Disinfection Unit

The IL-PVC Series are proudly manufactured in the USA at our Mahwah, NJ manufacturing facility.  These high end American made UV disinfection systems are constructed of PVC (schedule 40 and 80).  They are NOT designed for drinking water. Systems are available with manual quartz cleaning wipers,  high heat shut off and UV monitoring. Remote power control centers are available for indoor and outdoor use (Fiberglass, Painted Steel or Stainless Steel). Systems are designed for Disinfection.  These low flow rate UV systems are ideal for most applications. Systems for Disinfection utilize low pressure UV lamps in the 254 nm range.   Low pressure technologies include standard, high output and high intensity amalgam.

Glasco - Municipal Drinking Water Unit

Glasco has been installing chambered drinking water UV disinfection systems since the 1970s. Systems are designed based on flow rate.  Certain systems have been biologically validated at the Johnstown UV testing center by HydroQual.  Other systems have been validated by Clancy Environmental. Glasco can provide a system to meet any flow rate.  Certain models have been validated to meet projects requiring EPA standards.

Glasco - UV Disinfection System

Glasco UV works through a network of water professionals. Many companies and manufacturers source their own systems online.   Glasco UV`s disinfection systems are constructed of 316L stainless steel electropolished vessels.

Glasco - UV Monitor

UV Monitoring is an optional way to manage the operation of the system.     The UV monitor works by using a sensor to monitor a single or multiple lamps. When used in conjunction with lamp status and run time indicators, the UV monitor provides a indication of how the UV lamp is performing.   This performance can be provided in a 0-100% reading or in Wm/2

Legionella - Cooling Tower UV Disinfection System

The IL-CT Series is used to disinfect cooling tower waters and is effective at legionella control.   UV light is an excellent technology for cooling tower water disinfection. UV works on all microorganisms but there are chlorine resistant microorganisms. Replace expensive primary biocide equipment with relatively low cost UV and secondary residual

Glow - Horizontal Open Channel UV Disinfection System

Glasco has been installing traditional horizontally oriented UV disinfection systems since the 1990s.  These systems immerse lamps (protected by quartz sleeves) directly into the effluent. Systems are designed based on flow rate.  Systems can be provided with packaged stainless steel channels or be embedded into concrete. Systems have been biologically validated at the Johnstown UV testing center by HydroQual.

Glasco - UV Disinfection System

Glasco has been using flow through fluoropolymer tube reactor technologies to treat various liquids since 2006. Systems are designed using translucent fluoropolymer tubes.   Liquid travels through the tubes and light shines through the walls to accomplish the disinfection process.

Glasco - Vertical Open Channel UV Disinfection System

Glasco has been installing vertically oriented UV disinfection systems since the 1990s.  Systems are designed to treat unlimited flow rates.  Vertical products have been designed to treat low to large flows and are designed for 30" or 60" water levels.  Systems have been biologically validated at the Johnstown UV testing center by HydroQual.

Glasco - Liquid Sugar UV Disinfection System

The “IL-LS” systems are manufactured in the USA and are designed to treat flows ranging from .25 to 150 gallons per minute (1 to 568 liters per minute).  Higher flows are engineered with UV design team. The Liquid Sugar UV systems are specially designed to treat liquids in a thin film manner. Lamps are spaced close together to force the liquid to be exposed to high doses of UV energy.

Glasco - Explosion Proof Oil & Gas UV Systems

The “IL-EXP” systems are manufactured in the USA and are designed to treat flows ranging from .25 to 1,000’s of gallons per minute.  UV systems designed for oil and gas rig UV disinfection applications.  Used in hazardous environments requiring UV.
