An Aquamatic valve is a pneumatic or hydraulically operated valve, commonly used on large commercial and industrial water softeners and water filters. Aquamatic valves work around a rubber diaphragm that, over the course of many actuations, may start to leak. Additionally, the insides of these valves may suffer from scaling and build up from exposure to hard water.

Global Water Services stocks both valves and repair kits to stop leaky valves. The rubber repair kit comes with a new diaphragm and all the seals and o-rings you need to overhaul a single valve. We also supply an overhaul kit for the metal internals of the valve set.

The GWST-1001 and 1002 (patent pending) Retainer plate removal tool is used in place of the Factory GT Tool (421 and 424 Series valves). Our design allows for ease of use with a wrench or socket drive, along with the ability to keep the tool in contact with the retainer plate a full 360 degrees of rotation. Our tool remains vertical with little chance of slippage, reducing instances of keyway disengagement which can cause retainer plate damage.

A proper reverse osmosis setup should give you many gallons of worry free operation on your membranes. RO Membranes are not sacrificial filters; the contaminants removed by a well tuned RO should not consume membranes. Rather, these contaminants should be separated into the concentrate stream, and diverted to the drain. Global can trace fouling membranes to issues in the pre-RO treatment (you have pre-RO treatment right?), or flow rate mis-adjustments.

A Systemax Controller sends commands out to the various valves on your water softener to control normal operation and regeneration. Because timing and proper sequencing is essential for quality water softening, the unit must be functioning, and be programmed correctly. A faulty or mis-programmed controller can waste salt, or allow hard water to pass through the system.

The Systemax 2014 is a very flexible, state of the art, electronic valve control system. It is easy to install and use in a variety of commercial and industrial applications. The controller is remotely mounted in the vicinity of the softener / filtration system. It connects to each valve in the system by means of an interlock cable assembly. Using flow meter inputs, the controller determines the Service, Standby, or Regeneration status of each valve in the water treatment system. Auxiliary pumps, Chemical Feeders, and Alarms can also be controlled by the Systemax. Step by step programming guides the user to custom tailor the system to their exact specifications.
