Welcome to the Gobbler stable of spectacular boats and specialist equipment, designed and built to combat the disastrous effects of global pollution and Climate Change in the most practical, economical and simple way, fully tested to work, with the emphasis on 100% recycling. From the outset, our goal has been zero emissions from our equipment to avoid adding to the many dire problems of our planet. Working in isolated locations, sometimes far from civilization does not bode well for conversion to electric power as is being done with cars and vans. It’s hardly likely we’ll ever find a “Palm tree with a Charging Point” in the middle of nowhere, thus to this end we are working to introduce Hydrogen cell technology at the earliest possible opportunity.

Govercraft® are designed for GoSorb® bulk spreading over large areas of oil polluted land, beaches or difficult to access river banks. Large tracts can be treated quickly and efficiently in a fraction of the time taken by alternative methods. The product is 100% recyclable for profit, (see above) and anything remaining can be safely ploughed into the soil where the fertiliser element assists growth. It can be used in combination with Hydro-Gobbler, to regenerate polluted farmland in weeks rather than months. Spread on oiled beaches by Govercraft®, as the machines hover over the surface, nothing gets trodden in. Beaches are rapidly returned to their original condition. No more armies of workers tramping in oil, GoSorb® floats off on the tide. Deep rocky crevasses can be filled with material and hosed to clean, or tide flushed naturally.

GoSorb is a chemically modified cellulose based material. (patented technology & proprietary formulation). It is engineered to be the only completely water repellent, environmentally compatible, lipophilic absorbent product on the market. It has an extremely high absorbency rate combined with permanent water repellent properties and oil retention. Effective on water and land, GoSorb absorbs oil, greases and other water insoluble organics and contains no toxic, carcinogenic or biologically hazardous materials. It can be applied as a loose particulate by air sprayed or hand-laid methods, spread from a boat, bulk spread in controlled thicknesses by custom Govercraft or incorporated into booms and pillows for various aquatic applications. The captured oil can be recovered by compression for profit recycling, the compressed residue of GoSorb is convertible to valuable BioMass.

Bioremediation is a waste management technique that involves the use of cultured bacteria to remove or neutralize hydrocarbon pollutants from a contaminated site. Bioremediation is a treatment that uses naturally occurring organisms "bacteria" to break down hazardous substances into non-toxic substances. Hydro-Gobbler is a bioremediation product designed specifically to break down hydrocarbon polluted soil. Hydro-Gobbler activates the natural bacteria of the specific area to help with the bioremediation process restoring the land faster to the original state. As a bonus, Hydro-Gobbler can be mixed in the appropriate quantity with GoSorb for spreading on the surface, and when lightly tilled into the soil the Bacterial action is accelerated in combination with the component fertiliser.

The custom design lightweight 5th wheel trailer complies with international road regulations. It allows our vessels to be easily transported for launch from regular or hostile terrains closest to the spill site. An optional tow truck is available and the truck/trailer/vessel combination will fit the hold space of regular transport aircraft, allowing for ease of deployment to isolated locations worldwide.

The semi-submersible cradle, based upon an 40FT container footprint, allows vessels "drive in/drive out" ease of launch and recovery from commercial ships, tankers and oil rigs. It also doubles as secure stowage for container ships. Alternatively, the cradle can be used for transporting our vessels by road transport or train if the custom road trailer has not been purchased.

Unlike other OSRV`s we do not store recovered oil in on-board tanks. Our unique Advancing skimmer delivers oil through a patented internal transfer system to the high-visibility, hydro-dynamic, detachable and reusable towed bladders which are available in selectable capacities ranging from 200 to 3500 US Gallons. Approved solar powered lights are supplied as standard for night time operations, with bladder tracking systems currently under review. Filled bladders are quickly disconnected and float free for later collection, or emptied individually or simultaneously to a mother-ship via a GoPod(See below).

Suitable for day or night use, the Pods are intended to complement group working vessels, or for simultaneous emptying by a single pump in confined locations. They are designed to suit the lifting capacity of various helicopters and contain refueling facilities and spare bladders to ensure ongoing recovery operations until the arrival of support vessels. Up to eight filled bladders can be emptied simultaneously via a central suction port when connected to a mother-ship. All Pods are equipped with AIS Transponders and Regulation 3nm lights as standard.
