GPA Midstream - GPA Midstream GPSA Engineering Data Book Training and Certification
Since 1935. field and plant engineers have relied upon the pPSA Engineering Data Booklto determine operating and design parameters for gas processing facilities. The book serves as a guide to accepted engineering practices for estimating, feasibility studies, preliminary design and for making operating decisions. GPA Midstream offers this five-day in-depth Data Book instruction course to equip individuals with the fundamentals they need to put this valued industry resource to practical use. It is designed primarily for early career engineers and secondarily for senior operations, plant or maintenance personnel. The course is limited to 25 students and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will be tested on the information presented throughout and. after displaying competency in the material taught, will leave with a certificate documenting their successful completion of the GPA Midstream GPSA Engineering Data Book Instruction Course.
GPA Midstream - Introduction to Midstream Course
Created based on requests from our members. GPA Midstream is pleased to offer this new midstream industry overview course. The course uses the GPSA Engineering Data Book as a reference text and teaches students what happens at midstream operating facilities. It teaches students about midstream products, equipment typically found at midstream facilities, and the processes that turn variable hydrocarbon feedstock into fungible product. This three-day course is a great way to immerse new employees fully into the midstream industry. Students will partake in interactive lectures, perform light calculations, and experience working scale models of plant equipment.
Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology (OSUIT)
GPA Midstream and GPSA have shared a long partnership with the Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology (OSUIT). first through its Natural Gas Compression Program and now through the school`s recent introduction of its Pipeline Integrity Program. The midstream industry relies upon the education that students receive in OSUIT`s applied learning environments that simulate workplace expectations.
