GPL Odorizers products

The GPL 750 odorizer draws from advanced proprietary technology to provide precise odorization in even problematic conditions, for example, low-volume (even no-flow) and intermittent-volume conditions. The odorizer unit is appropriate for municipalities, small city gate stations, and methane (biogas) producers. The PLC receives flow information and automatically compensates the injection rate to provide uniform odorant distribution.

The GPL 10000 is intended for high-pressure and high-volume applications at transmission companies and large city gate stations. The odorizer has high rangeability, achieving precision odorization over a wide operating range of volume. The industry-leading programmable logic controller (PLC) interfaces with the flow meter and its system components to maintain constant odorant injection proportional to the gas flow rate.

GPL Odorizers offers turnkey packages of natural gas odorant injection systems that include the odorizer, ASME odorant tank, and containment assemblies; in both vertical (60-120 gallons) and horizontal (250-2000 gallons) tank configurations.

GPL Odorizers designs and manufactures portable and temporary odorization systems which permit pipelines to avoid disruption of service commonly incurred during construction. Temporary units also are employed during natural gas pipe pickling, pipeline conditioning, or pre-odorization.

We recommend the GPL 100 thermal mass flow meter for all GPL 750 odorization systems. Given that the the odorant injection rate of the odorizer is proportional to the gas flow rate of the pipeline, a flow meter with excellent low-flow sensitivity and high rangeability assures accurate, optimal and repeatable odorization with low-flow and intermittent-flow systems.
