From its inception in 1983, this Division has come a long way and today regarded as one of the leading manufacturers in the world of Graphite Heat and Mass transfer equipment and systems.  It was started in Nasik, India as Graphite Vicarb India Ltd in collaboration with Vicarb SA, France. After collaboration with Vicarb SA ceased in the early nineties, the division was merged with other Nasik based group companies and the name given was Carbon Everflow Ltd.  In 2002, after merger with parent company the name changed to Graphite India Ltd.  The product range is broadly classified into equipment, turnkey systems and accessories.

Graphite India Limited is the pioneer in the field of manufacturing of large diameter Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GRP) pipes, pipeline liners by continuous process in India. This venture was started in 1989 with Technical and financial collaboration of Veroc technology AS, Norway which was then known as Flowtite AS. We have a state of art , totally computerized Plant with advance technology near Nashik ( on Mumbai – Nashik Highway) in Maharashtra. Graphite India has two complete manufacturing lines manufacturing pipes from 300 mm dia to 3000 mm dia.

High-Speed Steels, Alloy Tool Steels and Powder Metallurgy Steels for the cutting tool industry are manufactured by GIL in its Powmex Steels Division, Located at Titilagarh, in Bolangir district in the state of Odisha and is accessible by: Road – 250 kms from Raipur airport ( Capital of Chattisgarh) Rail – from all major cities in India.

Carbon Electrode Paste is a Mix of: A). Calcined Petroleum Coke + Binder Pitch or B). Electrically Calcined Anthracite Coal + Binder Pitch. It is used as a conductor in submerged Arc Furnace under Self Baking Process commonly known as Soderberg Electrode and is widely used in Ferro Alloys, Carbide Industry & Metal Cleaning Process.

A Product obtained from machining of Graphite Electrodes, very useful for its low content of Sulphur, Nitrogen & Oxygen for critical application in High Quality Steel, Friction material & Lubricants etc.  Size :0.5 to 5 MM,0 to 3 MM & Below 1 MM,  Packing : In Small OR Jumbo Bag,  Certification : ISO 9001 : 2008 Quqlity System.  Customers Profile : Rail Wheel Factory, Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd, Tayo Rolls Ltd, Usha Martin Ltd, Sundaram Group, Brakes India, etc and Export to U.S.A, Spain, Middle East etc for application in Friction products.
