It is a rotating wheel type Semi-Automatic Battery Cutting Machine of standard capacity 2-3 MT/hr. Battery will be punctured from bottom through cutter to drain the acid water from battery. Metal Cutting Steel Blades rotating at high speed fitted on base frame structure. Forward movement of batteries against blade/cutting wheels is facilitated with SS 316 mounted on long base frame. To cut different height batteries motorized gear screw arrangement can simultaneously move these two cutting wheels up & down.

The most common raw material at a secondary Lead Recycling / Smelting Unit is Lead Acid batteries. We at Gravita are capable of furnishing Battery Crushing & Hydro-separation System (BHS) integrated with Acid Treatment/Neutralization System.

The most important aspect of Lead Smelting operation is treatment of effluent gases, which generates by reduction / smelting operation. Pollution control equipment’s are designed and tested in house at various degree of operations on various atmospheric conditions.

Lead Ingot Casting Machine is a semi-automatic machine normally uses in formation of the Lead Ingots through a continuous operation. During the casting process a pouring drum pour out the molten Lead on the casting moulds to shape it in the form of Ingots (22-25 Kgs). A water spray line for sprinkling the water from top side to turn down the temperature of ingots normally provides along with this machine.

Our refining process produces Pure Lead Ingots with a purity level of 99.97% to 99.99% by weight.

Remelted Lead Ingots are being produced from Raw Lead/ Battery Scraps / Lead Scraps and other scraps of Lead. We produce & Import Remelted Lead Ingots / Blocks, which contains about 97-99% Lead Metal with remaining Impurity Elements (Total 2-3%) as Antimony, Tin, Arsenic, Iron, Bismuth, Copper, Silver etc.

They are fitted with high efficiency furnace oil burners equipped with preheating arrangements. Emissions control is achieved by a flexible kettle hood venting into a venturi scrubber attached to an ID fan along with a chimney/stack arrangement. Emissions are regularly monitored to ascertain that they strictly fall within the allowable limits.
