GreenBug Energy offers three progressive levels of site assessment services to assist in determining the size of a site’s opportunity, the feasibility of development and the most optimal installation specifications. These services are designed to allow you to reduce your risk and financial commitment as you investigate and plan your micro hydro development.

To handle your installation planning and construction related permitting because, even with environmental approvals, construction plans, engineering approvals and construction related permits must be obtained. Local authorities require construction plans to be submitted as part of the permitting process and building permits must be obtained.

GreenBug Energy makes design and manufacturing decisions that maximize IRR over the life of the project and that includes decisions that affect long term maintenance costs such as the selection of quality and durable components and materials. We then set planned maintenance schedules based on these decisions. We do the same thing whether it is our site or yours.

GreenBug Energy engages in Research & Development activities in the lab and in the field with our research partners with the objective of improving the financial returns on installations (IRR) over the life of the project (assumed 40 year min). We do this because we develop sites using our own equipment and therefore our focus is on improvements that will impact the financial returns on projects over the long term.
