Griswold Controls’ Irrigation High Limit Constant Flow Valves limit the flowrate (gallons per minute) to your exact need. Today a maintenance person can change the flow on an irrigation zone by easily adjusting the valve with the handle, increasing or decreasing that particular zone. This is a problem because the system is designed for a certain flow rate and by adjusting the valve you now are changin g the performance of that particular zone. Limiting the flowrate to design flow gives the designer and property manager the confidence that their system is performing to their criteria.

The Griswold Automatic Flow Control Valve is used in many different applications, mostly in the HVAC industry to maintain balance in a HVAC System. The Automatic Flow Control has a spring loaded cartridge that dynamically absorbs pressure fluctuations resulting from changing flow conditions due to varying heating/cooling loads. These fluctuations in pressure, within a given pressure differential control range, do not change the flow through the valve, therefore the flow is controlled to within +/- 5% of the designed flow.

The QuickDisc, QuickSet and SpeedSet are manual balance valves that include brass venturi inserts for flow measurement and graduated memory stops for flow setting. Valves are available with multiple end connection options including a union end connections. The QuickDisc® valve uses a ceramic disc to control the flow and the QuickSet valves uses a ball to control the flow.

Accuracy: The Unimizer® eliminates inaccuracy in ball valves. This is made possible with the technology of the Griswold parabolic flow OPTIMIZER®, a device inserted into the ball to achieve Equal Percentage Control Characteristics.

Griswold Controls’ PIC-V, MVP, Pinnacle and PIM valves are Pressure Independent Control Valves. Pressure independent (PI) valves can help reduce energy costs and increase occupant comfort. PI control valves are designed to replace the conventional 2 way control valve and balancing valve pair, installed at heating and cooling coils in buildings.
