GUS-LAB - Laboratory Information Software

The employees of analytical laboratories have to fulfill a wealth of different tasks. These respective tasks and workflows can differ greatly with respect to the organization as well as the operational environment (R&D, quality control, environment, service laboratory, etc.). In general, however, it is expected that the work processes are effectively and optimally supported by a LIMS. Basically, so much measurement data is produced and processed in laboratories that IT support is essential even for small laboratories, since most laboratory equipment and methods provide a wealth of digital data, from raw data and measured values to results.

GUS-LAB - ERP Middleware Laboratory Software

An ERP is used in almost all chemical/petrochemical and pharmaceutical companies worldwide and, with e.g. a QM module, fulfills numerous functionalities that were previously reserved for classic LIMS and CAQ systems. For example, the SAP PLM QM module does not offer any possibilities for a direct connection to the laboratory equipment level and thereby comes up against acceptance limits, especially in the case of more extensive examinations (e.g. GC, HPLC, ICP, XRF, etc.) as well as in the regulated environment. Manual transmission of measured values already available in electronic form thus leads to considerably more effort and errors. With regard to developments such as IoT or Industry 4.0, the availability of complete measurement data including raw data is also desired and of outstanding importance, especially in vertical integration.

GUS-LAB - Laboratory Information Management (LIMS) Software

LABbase is a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that can be customized to meet specific customer needs. It includes all functionalities necessary for the daily work of professional laboratories. Our laboratory software makes it possible to map the processes within a wide variety of laboratory types and thus to support, simplify and make everyday work more efficient. User interface and master data can be translated into any number of languages in the LIMS. A module is also available for translating the mask and block titles and for adapting field labels. Reports can be output in a different language - regardless of the language set for the interface.

ENMO hydro is a comprehensive monitoring system for continuous monitoring and assurance of the quality of water bodies. It is an extremely effective solution when it comes to implementing the European Water Framework Directive (WFD), for example. This requires a good ecological and chemical status of all surface waters within the EU by 2027 at the latest.

The Radioactivity Management and Information System RaMIS® was designed as a comprehensive management and information system for monitoring radioactivity in the environment. The system was developed based on the nationwide Integrated Measurement and Information System (IMIS). The stand-alone version of RaMIS® includes all necessary components for data exchange with IMIS. The master data available in IMIS can be used as well as the IMIS data exchange format LAF (currently up to DAF 8.4).

GUS-LAB - Mobile Data Acquisition App

In addition to the stationary LABS/Q® terminals, data is now collected on a mobile basis. With the mobile LABS OC app, you always have your LABS/Q® with you and record the data where they occur. This can be, for example, in the pilot plant, at a fermenter or in the field, where you do not have a PC available. The LABS OC app can communicate with the LABS/Q® server in direct mode or record and temporarily store data in offline mode without a network. In addition to entering results, you can use the LABS OC App (LES) to process workflows, perform sampling, create ad hoc test orders and store raw data directly on the measuring device.

GUS-LAB - Web Portal

The web portal makes it possible to make results data from laboratory tests available to a larger group of interested parties, such as customers of laboratories. Access is via browser and is also possible from mobile devices. The system can be operated intuitively, without additional software installation or training. After a personalized login, the users of the web portal can only view/download those data that the LIMS-operating laboratory has released for them (results data, reports/certificates, etc.). Read-only access by web portal users ensures the integrity of the data in the LIMS.

You want to conveniently enter measured values on the go, even in a dead zone? Whether you work with a tablet or smartphone, this app is the right choice. It can be used as a web app online and offline. The app supports you in route planning with the help of Google Maps and enables quick documentation of the facts. The photos created are assigned to the respective sample at the push of a button and transferred to the LIMS.
