Water Treatment

Ultra Filtration System (UF)

Ultra-filtration (UF) is a pressure-driven barrier to suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, endotoxins and other pathogens to produce water with very high purity and low silt density. It serves as a pretreatment for surface water, seawater, and biologically treated municipal effluent before reverse osmosis and other membrane systems. UF is also used in industry to separate suspended solids from solution. Industrial applications include power generation, food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical production, biotechnology, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Membrane Bioreactor Systems (MBR)

Membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems combine ultra-filtration with biological treatment for wastewater treatment and water reuse applications. The membrane bioreactor system incorporates reinforced hollow fiber membranes specifically designed to meet the requirements of wastewater treatment. Membrane bioreactor systems replace conventional treatment and combine clarification, aeration and filtration into a simple and cost-effective process that reduces capital and operating costs. The result is consistent, high quality effluent suitable for any discharge or reuse application.

Reverse Osmosis System (RO)

RO technology is used to remove dissolved impurities from water through the use of a semi-permeable membrane. RO involves the reversal of flow through a membrane from a high salinity, or concentrated, solution to the high purity, or `permeate`, stream on the opposite side of the membrane. Pressure is used as the driving force for the separation. The applied pressure must be in excess of the osmotic pressure of the dissolved contaminants to allow flow across the membrane.

Ozone Remediation

Self-Contained Ozone Systems

Self-Contained Ozone Systems can be designed to fit any size application. Smaller systems are used in many industrial applications to treat process water for reuse or treat effluent water to minimize disposal costs. Ozone is an effective treatment for disinfection, oxidation of carbon based contaminates, as well as odor and color removal. These systems are typically skid or cabinet mounted. They can also be mounted in mobile trailers for portability.

Large Scale Ozone Systems

Large ozone systems, more than 50 pounds per day, are suitable for use in applications such as small community drinking water systems, publicly owned treatment works and large industrial waste or process water treatment. Ozone can not only destroy organic compounds, but can also break down harmful viruses in wastewater and destroy pharmaceuticals such as estrogen in drinking water treatment. These systems are typically installed inside a separate building at a facility. They can also be containerized for ease of transportation.
