The HIVON Vapor Phase Odor Neutralization System leverages an innovative approach to mitigate odors in industrial settings such as digesters and sludge holding tanks. Utilizing a proprietary blend of natural essential oils, labeled as HISCENT, the system eliminates odors through vaporization and dispersion via radial air distributors or piped networks. Notably, the HIVON operates without water, fogs, or mists, eliminating potential hazards to equipment and personnel, and reducing maintenance needs associated with nozzle or pump systems. Structurally, the system is constructed with corrosion-resistant aluminum and includes a robust cast aluminum blower driven by a 2hp stainless steel motor. This motor is VFD controlled, ensuring accurate airflow and minimal noise during operation. The system is designed for high air volume distribution, exceeding 1,000 cubic feet per minute, along with optimal media contact time for broad-spectrum odor management.

The HIBOCS is a biological odor control system designed to remove vapor phase odorous gases, primarily hydrogen sulfide (H2S). Typical applications are lift stations or treatment plant headworks with high level H2S and airflow volume. The HIBOCS is comprised of a fiberglass or polypropylene vessel which contains HIHP-98 high surface area synthetic plastic media. All system control panels are pre-wired and plumbed and mounted to the HIBCOS control skid for quick and easy installation. The FRP or corrosion-resistant cast aluminum blowers are powered by a stainless steel wash-down/inverter duty motor that is VFD controlled for precise air flow and quiet operation. Since the media life expectancy is the life of the system, and the nutrient chemicals are non-proprietary, the cost to operate the HIBOCS is very low. Another added benefit of the HIBOCS is that it does not have any added unnecessary monitoring probes/switches, so it is easy to understand and operate.

The HICARB carbon odor control vessels are fabricated from polypropylene or FRP and are designed for controlling vapor phase hydrogen sulfide (H2S) odors in low concentrations at sewage lift stations or plant headworks. These up-flow vessels contain specialty media’s that are blended to your site-specific odor control problems and designed for removal of a broad range of odors. The FRP or corrosion-resistant cast aluminum blower are powered by a 2hp stainless steel wash-down/inverter duty motor that is VFD controlled for precise air flow and quiet operation. The HICARB can be paired with the HIBOCS biological odor control system as a polishing unit for greater odor control. The HICARB comes with a 3-year warranty on all components of the system.

The HIVENT Passive Vapor Phase Odor Control Unit is specifically designed to mitigate odor issues associated with wastewater lift stations. It functions by attaching directly to the vent of the lift station, where it utilizes HISCENT, a blend of all-natural essential oils, to neutralize unpleasant odors. The unit is unique in its ability to treat air both when the lift station is off—neutralizing odorous air as the wet well fills—and when it is on—drawing clean air into the system. Remarkably, it functions without the need for water or electricity, relying solely on natural air flow. Constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant aluminum, the HIVENT unit requires minimal maintenance and consumes only 3-4 gallons of HISCENT annually, making it both a cost-effective and efficient solution to odor management.
