Slurry Pumps

Habermann Aurum - Highly Wear-Resistant Slurry Pump with Polymer Cast Lining

Highly wear resistant and corrosion proofed slurry pump for the transport of fine-grained liquid (3mm) – solid – mixtures. All medium contacted parts are made of a non-metallic composite material CeramCarbide® consisting of 80% silicon carbide and 20% vinyl ester resin as a binder. This is particularly suitable for fine-grained and aggressive suspensions. The lined parts can be easily replaced for efficient maintenance work.

Habermann Aurum - Armored Pumps for Medium and Heavy-Duty Applications

For low and medium wear stress, as occurs with low solids contents and soft solids, our long-proven, metal-encapsulated pump type PRL is available. It has proven itself in many industrial applications, e.g. in dewatering, sintered water conveyance and processing technology in tunnel construction. In addition to closed and semi-open variants, two- or multi-channel impellers are available. The impellers are mounted on the shaft by means of trapezoidal threads. Relief vanes are cast onto the back of the rear impeller cover plate to relieve the shaft seal. Pump and bearing housings are supported by a rugged bearing bracket.

Habermann - Heavy Duty Slurry Submersible Pump

The Heracles type is a pump series in heavy, robust design with directly flanged submersible motor for wet installation. The pumps are used in mining, fine sand extraction, slurry dumps, dewatering of dams, as well as desludging of lakes, ponds and rivers. These machines use the proven and robust components of our Habermann HPK, NPW as well as KB pump series. Heracles has a special shaft seal, this allows always reliable operation even under the most severe conditions. It can be operated with electric or hydraulic motor.

Habermann Aurum - Vertical Centrifugal Pump with Long Shaft

For dry well installation of the pump, the pump hydraulics are sealed on the medium side with a mechanical seal. For wet well installation of the pump, the bearing is sealed on the shaft side by a mechanical seal and the hydraulics on the medium side with a throttle bushing. This V series benefits from the modular construction of our pump model series. The hydraulic parts of the V series can therefore be designed in models HPK, NPK, NPW and KB and are available as metallic, as well as elastomer-lined pumps.

Habermann Aurum - Self-Priming Pump

The principle of self-priming pumps is that the air is drawn into the water due to the negative pressure created by the moving impeller and is emulsied with the liquid contained in the pump.

Habermann Aurum - Semi-Submersible Turbine Pumps for Sustainable Application

The vertical turbine pumps are semi-submersible because of the dry-motor installed at the top of the pump. The pump comprises an inlet suction pipe with strainer (option) with one or several pump stages with radial or mixed ow impellers, a column pipe with shaft and a discharge elbow. This discharge can be installed above or below the foundation level of the pumping station. The shaft sealing can be either soft packing or a mechanical seal.

The borehole pumps have a size from 4 up  to 12   inches (100  to  300 mm). Depending of the capacity and head, the pumps are executed with a oating impeller, radial impeller or semi-axial impeller.

Chemical Pumps

Habermann Aurum - Standardized Chemical Pump

Chemical pump according to EN ISO 2858, lined with APFLex polyurethane. In order to serve our customers in the chemical industry even better, we have started developing a standardized chemical pump to ISO 2858 in 2022. This pump will feature our proven polyurethane material APFlex® and thus offer the same wear protection benefits as our proven HPK series. The great advantage of the standardized chemical pump is that it can be easily replaced with metal pumps in the event of wear problems. We are currently continuing to work intensively on the design of the polyurethane components so that we will be able to provide our customers with the finished pump from 2023. Thanks to the long-term cooperation with a leading plastic pump manufacturer, we will be able to offer a combination of components made of UHMWE-PE, PP, PTFE and PU.

Wastewater Immersion Pumps

Habermann Aurum - Agitator Pumps for Water-Sand-Slurry Mixtures

The slurry pumps of the ELEVARO series are used where the toughest conditions prevail. Abrasive medium with material input and sluggish water-sludge mixtures: these are the tasks to be solved for our agitator pumps. These extremely robust slurry pumps impress with an upstream agitator, highly wear-resistant impellers, heavy-duty PUR cables and a back-to-back mechanical seal made of silicon carbide. Slurry up to 30%, heads up to 30m and flow rates up to 390m³/h can be achieved with this series. The possibility of conveying in slurry mode, as well as motor protection and food-grade lubricants are a matter of course, as is a watertight cable entry.

Habermann Aurum - Drainage Pump

The submersible wastewater pumps of the APNO series are used where the highest demands are placed on a pump. The toughest requirements in combination with long service lives: these are the challenges that the pumps of the APNO series have to meet in any continuous industrial operation. These extremely reliable dewatering pumps impress with highly wear-resistant impellers, heavy-duty PUR cables and a back-to-back mechanical seal made of silicon carbide. Heads up to 90m and flow rates up to 350m³/h can be achieved with this series. The double jacket cooling for conveying in snore mode, as well as the motor protection and food-safe lubricants are just as self-evident as a waterproof cable entry.
