The Cryogenic Floating Ball Valve 3 Piece BD Series from Habonim features full bidirectional full differential pressure (ΔP) capability. It has a solid one-piece high torque durable stem that ensures tight stem-to-ball directional engagement with precise relief hole alignment, supported by strict materials and manufacturing tolerances.

Design features; 3-piece robust, forged valve. Double block. Blowout-proof robust stem design. Bi-directional as standard. API 6D certified (API monogram #6D-1278). Fire safe designed to API 6FA, API 607, ISO 10497. Comply with NACE MR0175/ISO 15156. Corrosion resistant low friction bearings. Double Piston Effect or Single Piston Effect seat design. Mixed SPE and DPE seats design also available. Integral top-works direct mounting pad to ISO 5211. 6” and larger valves are equipped with lifting lugs. 8” and larger valves can be equipped with vent and drain valves (Optional). Antistatic grounding between ball, stem & body.

V-ball or Shaped seat (V or slot) for control applications. Standard or full port design, forged or cast. ANSI B16.34 Class 900 (wall thickness), size ¼”-2” (DN8-DN50). ANSI B16.34 Class 400 (wall thickness), size 2 ½”-6” (DN65-DN150).

The COMPACT actuator is a quarter-turn rack & pinion pneumatic actuator that doubles the torque of standard pneumatic actuators. The superior performance is achieved by Habonim’s four pinion design, which generates torque around a centrally located pinion. This translates into double the power for the same size actuator or half the size for the same amount.

Habonim patent innovative four-piston scotch-yoke design combines the benefits of high-power scotch-yoke mechanism to generate maximal power and high Start and End torques, where most valves require it and the balance and compactivity of the four-piston mechanism to provide fast and efficient operation with minimal maintenance. The patent four-piston scotch-yoke pneumatic actuator provides almost 100% higher power-to-size ratio. In other words, a comparable traditional high-torque scotch-yoke actuator will be twice as big as a Power CompAct unit. The Power CompAct unit is much faster in opening and closing and uses less compressed air to operate. The evenly balanced forces of the four pistons and short travel (short piston) provides un-matching high cycle long life without maintenance for hundreds of thousands of operations.
