Material: Basic material polybutene-1, a polyolefin with excellent properties according to DIN EN 12319-2. Application: Drinking water installations.

The basic material is HDPE, crosslinked by irradiation with electron accelerators. The acceler-ated ß particles effect a radical cross-linking with an online gas leakage test (according to DIN 16892 and 16893).

Hakathen composite plastic metal pipes with in-liner PE-RT or PE-Xc material. Basic material: Solid, medium-conducting in-liner pipe made of PE-RT or PE-Xc. Round, butt-welded, solid inner pipe as strength support. Outer pipe made of UV-resistant PE-HD oder PE-RT. Applications: The HAKATHEN pipe is a composite plastic and metal pipe for drinking water installations and withstands at a constant temperature of a 70 °C a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar over 50 years. The maximum operating temperature is 95°C (momentary 110°C).

GEROfit is a further developed pressure pipe, which complies equally with technical and eco-nomical requirements in pipe laying. Thanks to the resistant protective jacket, damage to the medium carrying pipe as a result of mechanical loads can be avoided to the largest extent. This has a positive effect on an optimum cost-benefit ratio.

Pressure pipes are used in the gas and water supply, for sewage systems and for industrial piping.

The RCprotect pipes are of the co-extruded solid type with a dimensionally integrated coloured outer layer. Due to the new material PE 100 RC the pipe is more resistant to slow crack growth and concentrated loads that may occur after a longer period than a conventional pipe.

Sewer and seepage pipes are used in real estate and house drainages and in the removal of surface water.

In the sewage construction an important and usage oriented innovation is emerging with the moulded fit-tings made of polyethylene (PE). Now, complete sewage pipelines made of polyethylene can be prepared with this new programme. This omits the time consuming and expensive individual constructions and is re-placed with more efficient and cost effective connecting parts.

Domestic drainage pipes made of PE are used as a connection between the roof drainage and the sewer or the rainwater drainage system.

Cable conduit pipes are manufactured from recycled PE. They protect electric cables from me-chanical damage. The cable conduit pipes are used widely today in the telecommunication in-dustry.
