HANKOOK MATICS` suspended electromagnetic separators are manufactured based on optimized magnet design by using electromagnetic analysis software according to conditions (the speed of a conveyor, width, the height and load of processing goods) of installation locations. The electromagnet type is capable of high absorption power compared to a permanent electromagnet type, and thus can remove various magnetic materials.

While adsorption power lacks compared to the electromagnet type, installation and maintenance are simple as there is no power consumption by using a permanent magnet.

The permanent magnet installed inside a drum removes pieces of iron buried in raw materials transferred via a conveyor. A variety of magnet force can be designed by using ferrite magnets or rare-earth magnets depending on raw material conditions.

Electromagnetic Pulley is applied copper coil electromagnet to generate very strong magnetic field to entire surface of pulley. Compared with a permanent type, Both large and small tramp metal can be removed at high burden depth with much deeper absorption power.

This drum magnetic separator is a sorting equipment of small magnetic material approx. 50mm particle size according to the rotation direction on the surface while rotating the exterior drum. The separator is installed with magnets over only half its area. Various magnetic force design is available depending on the condition of raw materials.

Shredder drum separator is combined the suction force of the electromagnet and permanent magnet to move absorbed metals to discharging point. Below drawings shows four installation options to be suitable for various site conditions.

Eddy current separator is used for separating non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, and bronze) with creating eddy current by fast rotation of a powerful magnetic rotor. Depending on the process volume, effective width can be order made from 200mm to 2000mm. The design of a magnetic rotor is determined depending on the size of separated non-magnetic substances. The device also separates raw materials in 5mm or below.

This separator is for separating weak magnetic materials such as stainless steel by using very high intensity magnetic force. It can be reached 14,000 gauss on the drum face and suitable for separating SUS304 and SUS316 steel from shredded matarials.
