Harp - Aerobic Digesters
Aerobic digestion is a biological process that takes place in the presence of oxygen whereby bacteria and micro-organisms consume organic matter and convert it into CO2 and lower molecular weight organic compounds. Traditionally aerobic digestion has been used in sewage treatment to reduce the volume of sewage sludge. The Harp BioDigester treats other organic waste such as food, agricultural & horticultural biomass, green waste, cardboard, etc., reducing mass and volume by up to 80% in just 24 hours – without creating carbon dioxide, ammonia, or methane emissions, and thus resulting in an innovative, carbon negative, organic waste remediation technology.
Harp - Carbon Offset Solutions
Harp BioDigesters reduce and eliminate harmful GHG emissions by limiting the oxidation of carbon during our proprietary waste conversion process, and by sequestering the carbon in the resulting soil product(s). We not only reduce waste volume and sequester carbon, but we also reduce waste transportation and the overall real estate area needed for landfills (or compost areas). We can thus provide an opportunity for our company and our customers to obtain carbon offset credits.
