Artificial Head & Binaural Recording

HEAD acoustics - HMS V Digital Artificial Head for Binaural Recording
The HMS V is a sophisticated digital artificial head designed by HEAD acoustics, featuring advanced technology for binaural recording and measurement. Utilizing Dual ADC technology with two parallel analog-to-digital converters, this device covers the entire audible dynamic range, eliminating the need for measuring range adjustments. The system allows immediate binaural equalization during measurements and includes a headphone jack for playback or monitoring with precision. Compatible with HEADlab systems, HMS V functions as a binaural sensor, integrating well with devices like the acoustic camera HEAD VISOR or the frontend SQuadriga III. The device can be controlled via a PC running ArtemiS SUITE recorder software through USB or LAN connections. Additionally, HMS V supports standalone recordings with its internal memory and high-capacity battery, offering extended runtime with a labPWR battery module. It provides an intuitive web interface for configuration, accessible via wireless or cabled connections on smartphones, tablets, or PCs.
