Heesung PMTech - Spent Auto Catalysts Sampling Technology

Sampling is a process of obtaining a representative sample to estimate the value of the waste catalyst.     Homogenization is important to demonstrate the representativeness of the sample and it is processed into a form suitable for sampling through pretreatment such as disassembly, grinding, and mixing. We use auto sampler and spear sampler, and sample by sub-lot according to customer`s request.

We recover PGM from spent catalysts produced in hydrogenation / hydro-cracking / purification / reforming process of oil refinery and petro-chemistry manufacturers.

Heesung PMTech - Assaying Technology

Our laboratory has the best facilities and assaying technology for determining value of spent catalysts. Accurate and quick assaying that considers the raw materials’ nature is one of our core competencies. All samples go through second homogenization and pretreatment. For quick PGM content identification, simple analysis by XRF & TGA is performed, and the final content is determinded by ICP assaying.
