Comp-Flex - Gas Meter Diaphragms Fabric

Comp-Flex GZ gas meter diaphragms helsa Comp-Flex® GZ are three-dimensionally stable elastomer diaphragms made from helsa Comp-Flex FW gas meter fabric for use as a flexible diaphragm in bellow-type gas meters.

Comp-Flex - Base Fabrics

helsa Comp-Flex FW are material composites made from textile carrier materials (fabric, knitted yarns, non-woven materials) and a functional coating (elastomer, silicon, etc.). The strength and elongation properties of the compound are determined by the type of composition and construction of the carrier textile and can be specifically and individually varied. The coating provides tightness and resistance against temperature, mechanical stress and media. Depending on the intended use and requirements, the raw material components are individually sought and combined. helsa Functional Coating specializes in wafer-thin, even and absolutely gas-proof coatings such as those required for the use of gas meter diaphragms.

Functional Coating - Sorbexx

helsa Sorbexx - Ceramic Activated Carbon Filter

helsa Sorbexx CS are ceramic extruded filter moulds. Activated carbon lends the adsorptive functions while a ceramic binder forms the supportive structure. The adsorption capacity can be individually adjusted. The particularly finely ground activated carbon particles are integrated into the structure of the ceramic in such a way that they are easily and completely accessible for molecular impurities and form a maximum response surface.

Sorbexx - Granular Activated Carbon Foams Filter Media

Sorbexx GS-filter media consist of a polyurethane foam basis with different pore structure and thickness, on the hollows struts of which granular activated carbon or other adsorbents are attached by means of an adhesive. In terms of foam structure and activated carbon or adsorber performance, it is possible to adjust and produce the media in a precise and individual manner in line with the corresponding requirements. In additional subsequent production steps, the surface medium can be cut into a wide variety of moulds and customised into filter units.

Sorbexx - Granular Activated Carbon Filter Media

Sorbexx SB filter media consist of a non-woven material base to which granular activated carbon or another adsorber media are firmly fixed using a special spray coat method. Sorbexx SB are piece goods available in a wide variety of widths. Sorbexx SB filter media may vary as regards the type of non-woven material and activated carbon or adsorber performance. The active surface remains almost completely preserved thanks to the only punctual fixing of the activated carbon or adsorber, and the gases to be eliminated can be adsorbed or chemically bonded freely and adequately inside the activated carbon or the adsorber. If required, the activated carbon or the adsorber layer can also be combined or covered with a non-woven material, which then provides a mechanical protection or a particle separation function. The surface medium can be folded in additional production steps and customised into filter units.

Sorbexx - Non-wovens Coated with Powder Activated Carbon

Sorbexx PV filter media consist of a non-woven material base coated with a powder activated carbon formulation. The thickness of the layers of the carrier and the amount of functional material (activated carbon) applied determine the adsorption capacity. The particularly fine ground activated carbon particles are integrated in the carrier in such a way that they are easily and completely accessible for molecular impurities and form a large external response surface. This can vary depending on the properties of the non-woven material (e.g. different fibre types, non-woven material solidification and surface weight) and the respective material thicknesses, thus determining the adsorption kinetics.

Sorbexx - Powder Activated Carbon Coated Foams Filter Media

Sorbexx PS-Sorbexx PS filter media consist of an open pore foam base coated with a homogenous powder activated carbon formulation. The thickness of the layer of the carrier and the amount of the activated carbon functional material applied determines the adsorption capacity. The particularly fine ground activated carbon particles are integrated into the filter surface in such a way that that they are easily and completely accessible for molecular impurities and form a large external response surface. This can vary depending on the porosity of the foam and the respective material thicknesses, thus determining the adsorption kinetics. The foams may vary as regards their structure and activated carbon or adsorber performance.
